Naruto's Parents.
A visit to the grave brings back some memories.
This is my first Naruto fanfiction, sorry for any mistakes.
As his feet trudged against the fallen leaves Naruto made his way to the cemetery where he would sit down and place fresh flowers next to his parent's grave.
The bright haired boy with his head bowed down and hands stuffed inside his light blue hoodie walked towards the two grave stones where his mother and father laid. Slowly lifting his head up he read each of their names in his head. A broken smile appeared on the his face as he replaced the old flowers with the new ones he bought from the flower shop, owned by his friend Ino.
After a few minutes Naruto finished replacing and watering the new flowers which he neatly placed on the foot of their graves. Naruto ran his fingers through his blond hair as he kneeled down next to his father grave.
''Hey dad...'' Naruto said, his hand slightly grazing over the name which was carved on the marble stone.
''I miss you, a lot'' A tear slid down Naruto's slightly tan cheek, failing miserably at keeps his tears bottled up. His face rarely portrayed an emotion other happy so his friends never questioned him about his feelings and emotions. They all know Naruto as a slightly whimsical, joyful and caring person but deep down they know that he's just merely putting up a facade, but they never bought it up.
''Jiraya was talking to grandma Tsunade about you and mum the other day'' Naruto said as his head turned to the grave next to his fathers where his mum laid. The blond felt his tears sting his cheeks as he quickly tried to wipe them away. ''He said that he blames himself for the accident. That he shouldn't have called you when you were both in the car, he said that maybe if he didn't call you, you both would be alive right now'' Naruto said his voice slightly breaking near the end. He got up and dusted his black jeans and walked over to his mum's grave.
''I don't blame him at all though'' Naruto said carrying on with his speech. ''The doctors and the police clearly stated that during a red light a drunk driver car crashed into yours, so technically it wasn't Jiraya's fault''
Naruto sat near the edge of the grave, his fingers tracing over the soil. He picked a bit of soil and lightly sprinkled it around.
''...but he wont ever forgive himself'' Naruto whispered. His eyes lingering on his mums name.
Naruto never really got to know his parent's. They both died when Naruto was 4, he remembers bits and pieces of them. Like how he would never stop playing with his mum's beautiful red hair which would reach down to her spine and the way he would always enjoy cuddling her, the soft scent of vanilla filling his nose.
He would also remember trying to style his hair just like his fathers, but of course since his hair was so thin as a child it never worked. His father would always bring Naruto outside to the park to play with their dog since their house was quite small.
Naruto smiled at the faint memories of his mother and father.
Deciding it was time to go and head back to his godfather's house he stood up, before he got the chance to dust off his jeans again Naruto spotted the familiar black hair boy, around his age. He would always see him but they never exchanged words.
He would always come to the cemetery with nothing but a straight face, as if he was scared to let his emotions show through however today he saw something different, Naruto focused his light blue eyes on the boy whose jet black hair was covering his parts of his face however Naruto noticed streams of tears down his pale cheeks. Naruto bit his lip at the sight. He instantly wanted to go over and comfort him but in the end he ended up deciding against it.
Adverting his eyes to back to his mothers and fathers grave he also let a few tears slip by before whispering,
''I love you, mum''
''I love you, dad''
and left the cemetery.
