Duo had his arms folded as he glanced outside into the cloudless night. He sighed deeply, looking at the numerous stars as they twinkled. Some were fading, others showed their light brightly. Heero came into the room quietly. Knowing without asking what was on his koi's mind.

" Does anyone ever stay in love?"
Duo asked as Heero came from behind him.
" I don't know the answer to that."
Heero replied quietly. Duo gave a short sigh, shaking his head, lost in thought.

When you think I'm not aware

Of just how deep my feelings are

Duo glanced out the corner of his eyes at Heero who was clicking tirelessly at the keys of his laptop. The sun shone brightly but Duo's mood was anything but that.

Duo thought sadly. He returned back to his paper with a sigh as Heero glanced up, knowing Duo had been watching him.

"What now?"
Heero asked,
" Nothing"
Duo shrugged,
"I just like being happy."
"Is that so?"
Heero said, a smile slowly appearing on his face.

" Are you actually smiling Hee-chan?"
Duo asked incredulously.
" Yes, got a problem with that?"
Duo shook his head as Heero pulled him close.
" I'm just trying to show you how much I love you."
