Chapter One: The New Kid
This story . . . My story . . . takes place a little while after Metro City and the surface met . . . After Astro saved both worlds . . . and the world was at peace for the first time since Astro was created as a robot . . . but . . . all of that was about to change forever . . . .
BRRRRRIIIIINNNNGGG! Went the bell for school. Astro was Sprinting towards his first class. If I hurry I can make it and get the front row seat! He thought as he was running. His first class was History class. His favorite. He was so lost in thought, that he bumped into a robot janitor at the door to his classroom!
"Whoops! Sorry about that!" He Apologized.
"No Worries, Astro. Now hurry or you'll be late!" The robot said.
With that in mind now, Astro sped off without another word. He had gotten there in time for class but Zane had gotten the front row seat. Dang it, Zane! He thought as he took a middle seat. The teacher came up in front of the class and cleared his throat getting the class' attention. "Alright class today we have a new student." The teacher started to say. Astro then noticed there was a empty seat to his right. He smiled for some weird reason he just didn't know. "This is Amber Brison. She is know to be the smartest girl at her old school so let's test this rumor with a pop quiz later." The teacher finished his introduction as a girl came into the classroom. Astro couldn't hold back a blush as she walked inside.
She was absolutely stunning.
I'll go from bottom to top. She had casual sneakers on with no laces, a medium-long purple skirt, a collared bright yellow top, and a dark pink headband. She had short but flowing, beautiful golden hair and the most unusual eyes with irises the color of embers. She was the most beautiful girl Astro had ever seen.
"Let's see . . . Ah! Let's put you by Astro! He's a good roll model. Astro would you mind sharing your supplies with Amber for the day?" The teacher asked.
"Oh! Uh, No I wouldn't mind." Astro spoke coming out of his trance.
"Good boy. Amber you may take your seat. Alright Class I'm going to show you a video then pop quiz you so pay attention. And that goes for you to, Zane"The Teacher said. A small giggle went around the classroom.
Time skip after the video was played . . .
"Alright, time for a pop quiz." The teacher said. The class all groaned but this time Astro wasn't the only one not to groan this time. "Begin." They were told and in a matter of seconds Amber raised her hand. "Yes, Ms. Brison?" The teacher said.
"I'm finished, Sir."She said. The whole class, including Astro, stared in awe as she ejected her test chip and walked to the front of the class slowly. She handed the chip to the teacher who was also in awe and slack jaw. "I-impossible!" He said. She stopped before exiting the room and smiled.
"Nothing's impossible, Mr. Ashoul." Amber said before leaving the classroom, and Astro, in awe.
