I do not own Labyrinth!

….okay, I own a DVD copy and two posters, but that's it. This idea actually comes from a true story.

On with the story!

Jareth had lived in his kingdom his whole life. He could walk around the entire castle with his eyes closed. Even when the objects changed around him, he could still find his way serenely through the halls.

So when nature called him at three in the morning, he left his beloved wife Sarah on the bed, and went to relieve himself. He left the lights off and made his way calmly to the adjoining bathroom, on account of Sarah being a very light sleeper.

She had developed the habit to provide better for Toby, and it rather terrified her step-mother just how protective Sarah was of her half-brother.

But that was a different story.

Jareth finished washing his hands, and made his way back out to return to bed.

He had lived in the bedroom, same setup even after Sarah moved in, his whole life. His arms were stretched out in front of him, but held apart at his sides so that he could find the layered covers he had thrown back and spoon against his beloved wife.

He was the all-powerful Goblin King.

Toby stares at Jareth across the breakfast table, his bagel held in his hand.

"So, what happened?"

Sarah smiles at her husband. "Apparently, Jareth misjudged the distance to our bed, and you know it's a four poster."

"Oh no." Toby commented.

"Yep." Sarah nodded. "The post went right between his arms and he collided with it."

"And our ever beloved Queen of Goblin City, known for her beauty, kindness, and her caring nature and devoted love to her King…."

"Let's not forget her quick wit." Toby interjected with a grin.

"I sat up in bed and asked Jareth, 'Are you blind?' Those were the first words out of my mouth."

Toby laughed.

Jareth grinned affectionately at his wife and held her hand.
