After The Storm
By Lilly d'Ciel

In sweetest moments,
when the world revolves only around us,
contrasts dim,
the night's wind touch gentle and tender,
air warm, a haven save and sound,
canvas filled with hope and joy,
determination driving our dreams,
dreams becoming true,
then your arms hold me: In joy

In saddest moments,
when the world changes to bad,
contrasts rip us apart,
the storm blows fast and furious,
air chilling, finding no shelter,
empty canvas,
lethargy becoming a constant pain,
dreams broken,
then your arms hold me: In sorrow

In the end,
when the storm has settled down,
we dim the lights.
I can feel your tender breath upon my face,
warm and save,
a newborn inspiration inside the heart.
Dreaming of you.
Reality of you.

Then your arms hold me: after the storm.
