"We're still doing science. Still doing science… Sir."
Cassy woke up in a room. It was dark, and it looked ruined. It seemed to look like a luxorious room. It WAS. The paintings were on the ground, the wallpaper was tearing apart. Cassy sat up in her room, and looked around, then looked at her bed. There was a dip in the bed, in the outline of where she'd been sleeping. For how long was she asleep on the bed, in that same position? Oh god, she didn't even change her clothes during that time!
She stood up, and she felt weird braces on her leg. She looked down, and they looked like springs. What the fuck?
There was two knocks at the door.
"Hello?! Is anyone there?! Open the door!"
Cassy jumped back. The voice was so English. The accent, the voice… Cassy felt in love. She rushed over and opened the door. There was a round, sphere-y thing, hanging from a rail. It had an eye, which was blue.
"Wha-WHAA! O-oh." The sphere said, looking at Cassy. "Oh, you're alright!"
Hearts formed in Cassy's eyes. She felt so in love with this sphere, robotic thing with an English accent. And how he swallowed his 't' in every word that had a 't' in it.
"E-erm, you alright? Actually, don't answer that." The sphere said, coming into the room, still hanging by the rail.
"Please prepare for emergency evacuation." The voice over the intercom said.
"Erm, alright, don't move, everything is going to be fine!" The sphere said rather quickly. "I'm gonna get us out of here. Oh, you might want to hang onto something."
Cassy looked around as if saying "The heck is he talking about?"
The ground begun to shake.
