When you are a pureblood vampire, you have to hid your true self twenty-four seven. You can't love anything, anyone, any place, because you are isolated from the rest of the world. I am Hisa Kishi, a pureblood vampire princess. My name means long lasting and good life, however I think my parents have a sick sense of humor to call me that. And you might think that being a princess sounds good, but it just causes more drama. Nothing is easy; nothing is laid out for you. No, you are expected to stay indoors at all times, not flirt with boys, and keep your hygiene in perfect outline. You are to shape other vampires. You are to be the appearance of a real princess, but more so. The worst part of all is I have to be by ridiculously acting vampires at school, Cross Academy. The only good thing is the lavender smelling sheets and almond pocky.
"Hisa dear?" my mom, Michiko, knocked on my door.
"Come in mother" I replied, studying my homework for Calculus.
"Kaname is here to see you. He said it was about Zero." My mother looked down at her feet.
I immediately rushed out of my seat, threw on something more presentable than sleep wear and flew down the stairs.
There I saw Kaname Kuran, standing patiently with Zero's body in his arms. I fell to my knees before him. I started to weep.
"Child, look closer." Kaname whispered. He held the body out for me to inspect.
I took a look and noticed he didn't have Zero's tattoo on the side of his neck. I looked at Kaname with a confused expression.
"It is not Zero, Hisa. It is his brother. Zero is a vampire now. You are against him."
