CSI Hide & Seek
It was a slow day at the lab no messages about bodies being found, the team were sitting in the break room sipping coffee and mumbling quietly to each other, except Grissom who was in his scientific office finishing off paperwork for the previous cases.
"I'm so bored" Greg whined, "We all are bored Greg so it would help if you stop whining about it" exclaimed Catherine.
Nick got up and poured himself some more coffee "Does anyone know how to keep Greg quiet?" Sara asked, sipping on her warm coffee, Greg jumped out of his seat "I know how about we play a game to pass the time!" Warwick groaned "Greggers how old are you!" Greg stopped bouncing around "33", "You need to act your age, know you to come up with something like that" Warwick commented.
After a few moments Greg started up again "Well does anyone know any games we could try?" looking around the room hopefully.
Sara thought of one and suggested it to Greg "How about truth or dare?" Everyone stared at Sara questioning if she had actually suggested playing truth or dare with Greg "Umm no" Catherine and Nick stated "Not with Greg around, he will go around shouting out information he found out and I believe none of us want that" Catherine explained to Sara, "Good point Cath" Sara agreed, while Greg grumbled to himself "No I wouldn't".
"How about cards?" Nicky suggested, "Uhh maybe not, we don't have any cards anyway" Warwick notified "I do, I keep some in my locker, we can put money down" said about to get up and go get them "No way Cowboy, sorry Nick but we are not playing cards".
Brass came into the break room to find Nick sleeping, Catherine and Warwick talking by the break table, Sara looking like she was thinking hard and intentionally on something and the young CSI moaning about being bored.
"Hey guys, slow day huh" Brass joked "Yeah well I hope there be a decomp so then at least I won't be stuck here bored" Nick groaned groggily having just woken up "How come your here Brass, any news to give us?" Catherine wondered, "I'm here just like you guys nothing to do, no cases have come up yet" flopping down on the comfy armchair, "Brass do you have any ideas on a game?" Greg happily asked "Yes I do as a matter of fact, hide and seek but you guys might find it a bit babyish, I used to play it with my Daughter when she was little" Jim mentioned "I guess it's a exciting game" Sara spoke, Warwick nodded "We will have to be careful thought of hiding around the lab, and before anyone asks yes I played hide and seek with Lindsay when she was a little girl"
"Okay we will have to be very careful when going around the lab trying to find a hiding place, so try not to run and bump into things especially you Greg Saunders" Catherine explained.
"So, what are you guys doing?" Grissom asked walking into the charged aired break room, everyone turned their heads to look at a questionable Grissom "We are just about to play a game or two of hide and seek, wanna join Griss?" Sara pleaded, Gil looked down into her eyes and sighed "Okay but no accidents I don't fancy filling out more paperwork" Griss told them while looking at Greg "Why does everyone look at me when we're told to be careful!" Greg grumbled, Warwick shook his head "Cause Greggo it's normally you, who trips over stuff when you are excited".
A few moments later Catherine told everyone the rules, and then finally chose who would count, which ended up being Warwick who said that he would count, Nick, Greg, Catherine, Brass, Sara and Grissom scattered into different areas of the lab trying to find good places to hide...
