A year after Team Prime returned to Cybertron tragedy struck. MECH attacked killing many innocent lives with their experiments. Jack, Miko and Raf were captured along with many other survivors by MECH and experimented on. Jack was the last of the trio of friends to be turned into pure Cybertronians. After MECH nearly offlined Raf, Jack flew into a rage freeing every human that was turned into a Cybertronian.
Jack lead the way for over a hundred new Cybertronians with Miko and Raf by his sides. Jack's mom, June Darby, became head of the Medical field, Miko became Jack's second-in-command and head of the Wrecker Crew, and Raf became Jack's third-in-command and head of the Science field. Building a hidden city under the Earth's surface the formed a new faction called Survivors. Jack became a new prime due to the key to Vector Sigma becoming a new Matrix.
Sparklings stayed in the city while fully matured mechs and femmes went to gather Energon. Jack stayed on look out for his people, keeping them safe from the MECHcons that roam the surface.
