Michelangelo was in his room. He was reading a magazine. It actually was a catalogue for all the Christmas toys. He gasped. "Oh my god! All these Christmas gifts! I want all of them!" Mikey yelled. Leo knocked on the door. Mikey opened the door. "Hey Leo." Mikey said. "What's up Mikey? Master Splinter wants us to train soon." Leo said. "Leo, look at this!" Mikey yelled and he showed Leo the Christmas catalogue. "What is that?" Leo asked. "It's a Christmas catalogue." Mikey said. Leo groaned. "Oh no. Mikey, remember last year? You kept circling all the toys that you wanted." Leo said. "Oh yeah." Mikey said.
There was a flashback to last December. Mikey was cleaning his room and he saw a catalogue. "Huh? What's this? A catalogue? Ooh. Christmas. I do like toys." Mikey said. Then the took out a red marker and he started to circle every single toy that was on the catalogue. Leo walked in and saw Mikey. "What are you doing?" Leo asked. "I want every single toy on this catalogue." Mikey said. "Mikey, Christmas is not all about toys." Leo said. "It is to me." Mikey said. The flashback ended.
"Mikey." Leo said. Mikey sighed and put the catalogue away. Leo walked out of Mikey's room. Then Mikey took the catalogue out and he did the exact same thing that he did last year. Donatello and Raphael were decorating the sewer lair. "You know Donnie, we use the same decorations every year!" Raph yelled. "Um excuse me Raph, but that's all we can afford!" Donnie yelled. "For once, I wish that we had better decorations! Look at this place! We only have one ornament on our tree and look how small the tree is!" Raph yelled. "True, but..." Donnie was interrupted by Raph. "And look! We don't even have lights! And we have to share one stocking!" Raph screamed.
Leo walked over to Raph and Donnie. "Okay, what happened?" Leo asked. "I'll tell you what happened Leo! Donnie wants to use the same Christmas decorations!" Raph yelled. "Dude, we always use them." Donnie said. Raph and Donnie growled at each other. "Stop!" Leo screamed. "For Christmas this year, I want better decorations!" Raph yelled. "Fine!" Donnie yelled. He put the decorations on the floor and walked to his lab. He went on his computer. Donnie sighed. Leo walked into the lab. "Hey Donnie." Leo said. "Leo, I want April to fall in love with me, but Casey's always in the way!" Donnie yelled. Leo went to the dojo. He was talking to Master Splinter. "Doesn't anyone know the true meaning of Christmas?" Leo asked. "Leonardo, what's going on?" Splinter asked.
"The true meaning of Christmas. None of them understand. Mikey's circling toys in a catalogue, Raph wants new Christmas decorations, and Donnie wants April to fall in love with him." Leo said. "Leonardo, do you know about the true meaning of Christmas my son?" Splinter asked. Leo nodded. "Of course I do father. We remember the birth of Jesus Christ." Leo said. "Very good Leonardo. Now try to explain to your bothers about the true meaning of Christmas." Splinter said. Leo nodded and bowed to Splinter. "I will Sensei." Leo said and he walked out of the dojo.
"Mikey! Where's my catalogue?" Raph asked. "You mean this?" Mikey asked and he showed Raph the catalogue. "Oh my god. What did you do it it!?" Raph asked. "I was circling all the toys that I wanted." Mikey said. "Mikey, that catalogue was mine!" Raph screamed. "Oops. Sorry dude." Mikey said and he wiped the red circles away. Raph's catalogue was a mess. Raph slapped Mikey. "Ow!" Mikey yelled. Leo saw that. "Raph! Mikey, are you alright?" Leo asked. Mikey nodded. "Raph." Leo said. "Another thing! I want Mikey to be more mature for Christmas!" Raph yelled.
"Raph, you can't control me." Mikey said. "You act like a child!" Raph yelled. He threw the catalogue on the floor walked away. "Sometimes I wish that Raph had a better attitude." Mikey said. "Me too Mikey." Leo said. Donnie was working on a Christmas card. "Oh April." Donnie said. "Aw. Isn't that adorable? You're writing a Christmas letter to April." Mikey said. "Yeah." Donnie said.
"Guys! Can I have your attention?" Leo asked. "What's up Leo?" Mikey asked. "I have important news. Where's Raph?" Leo asked. "In his room." Donnie said. "Can someone get him?" Leo asked. "Sure." Donnie said. He got his bo-staff and went to Raph's room. He knocked on the door. "What is it Donnie?" Raph asked. "Leo needs to talk to us." Donnie said. "Fine." Raph said. He left his room. Then all the turtles were together.
"Hey guys. I have something to say. Now I know you guys like getting presents and other things like girlfriends, but we need to understand the true meaning of Christmas." Leo said. "Why should we care?" Raph asked. "Why should we care!? Really Raph? It's important to know why Christmas is a holiday." Leo said. "Oh. I thought Christmas was all about gifts." Mikey said. "Well it's not." Leo said. "Then what is it?" Raph asked. "It's about remembering the birth of Jesus Christ." Leo said. "Oh yeah. Christ was born on Christmas day." Donnie said. "Yeah Donnie, we all know that. Haven't you heard the song God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen?" Raph asked. Mikey put the song on and the turtles were singing.
"God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ, our Savior was born on Christmas Day. To save us all from Satan's pow'r when we were gone astray. Oh tidings of comfort and joy comfort and joy. Oh tidings of comfort and joy." Donnie sang. "Now do we understand the true meaning?" Leo asked. Donnie, Raph, and Mikey nodded. "Good." Leo said and he walked away. He went back to the dojo.
"Well? How was it my son?" Splinter asked. "Pretty good Sensei. They understand the true meaning." Leo said. "Good. Now call your brothers in. It's time to start some training." Splinter said. "Hai Sensei." Leo said. Ten minutes later, all four turtles were in the dojo and they were training. "Hey Leo?" Raph asked. "Yes Raph." Leo said. "This is kind of hard for me to say this, but thanks." Raph said. "Yeah thanks Leo." Donnie said. "You rock!" Mikey yelled. "Thanks guys." Leo said.
