Genso Suikoden: Stars of Valor
The two True Runes that will appear in this story are purely my own and may or may not be related to the future True Runes in future Suikoden games. As Everyone knows, there are 108 Stars of Destiny, yet there are also so many more characters as well. This will be an epic undertaking and I plan not to disappoint. HOWEVER, creating all these characters is too much for even me.

The time frame set for this story is SY 467, which is seven years after the end of Suikoden 2, and eight years before Suikoden 3. Suikoden 4 occurs 150 years before Suikoden 5 and GS5 occurs three years before the events of the original Suikoden. Keep this in mind if your character is a descendant of someone from a previous game, or is related in some other way to one. For all of this information and more, including knowledge of rune rarity and other things, Suikosource has it all on their page.
I ask that you include the following in the following order.
Name
Age
Gender
Height
Weight
Hair color
Eye color
Nationality
Weapon Name (Type is fine if you can't think of one)
Rune affinity if any along with the kind of rune attached.
Personallity
Short background, like you'd find in the Detective Files
Now, all of that aside, please make sure that you study the nations histories, as well as balance your characters. No melee fighters who can use three rune slots. No rune sages who can slaughter with physical attacks as well. I might allow one or two outstanding characters like this, but remember, they were FAR and FEW between in every Suikoden game.
Also keep in mind that certain runes are extremely rare, like Carthari's Godspeed rune, Resurrection Rune, Double-Beat, and others.
I will handle unite attacks between submitted characters based on nationality and personality as well as other factors. Don't submit which Star of Destiny your character is, I will determine that the same way I will with Unite Attacks.
All of this being said, I need 80 characters as a few characters of the past may appear in the story. I'm expected a great turn out here. So get those minds working! Good luck.

The War of the Runes
Long, long ago, yet shortly after the birth of the Runes from the Shield and Sword runes. Two runes continued the battle against one another as their parent runes before them had. One commanded all that was well and good in the world while its sibling brought the vices and negative matter to bear. The two fought for ages, neither one gaining ground before the rest of the runes had created the world.
The two runes took notice at the beauty of the infant world's landscapes and skies. One admired and valued its purity, while the other lusted and desired to claim it. The two began to seek out a suitable host, one to nurture and protect, the other to conquer and enslave. Over four hundred years have past since that time and the many wars that scarred the lands since have fed one and weakened the other. The dark rune is ready while the purity of the other has diminished and weakened. Only a pure soul can revive this desperate rune's power to stand against its power obsessing sibling.
Who will emerge victorious? No one yet knows.
