The Birth of an Empire

In the Beginning

Long time ago, as dusk heaved and sun rays settled on Tamriel, a baby was born. A boy named Talos, who soon would be the leader of an Empire. An empire as mighty that it'll conquer all Tamriel, so it will follow one ruler, one king. Talos spent his whole life in a small village named Atmora which is located the south-east of Skyrim. It was exposed to the Forsworn and night raids were not uncommon. His father, Arthur, who was a guard in Solitude died in combat fighting of a dragon called Alduin.

Talos was seeking to avenge his father's death at the early age of six-teen. Alduin was known as world eater, devourer, and lord of dragons. The beast goes by many names, but known he is for his paralyzing glare and his deadly breath of fire. Believe in him they did not as he was long forgotten, and so were the Greybeards who rest on the throat of the world in their bitter keep. They only started to fear after death of thousands, as corpses filled the streets, trying to fend of the mighty creature from Solitude, which will soon enough become the capital of Skyrim.

Talos reported to the Jarl of his village for duty in military. Talos was very talented in swift combat and strategic thinking. The Jarl soon realized the use of Talos and recruited him as guard. Other guards watched him train and grow in strength, recognized his strength in weaponry. Talos truly did have a gift, swift darts with his sword and a sharp mind gave him the edge in battles. Four cold years past, the nature of Skyrim is cold-hearted and Talos protected his village from many foul creatures.

Vampires, who worship the Daedra, humongous spiders, and mighty Ice Trolls. He killed many of these vile creatures and guarded his village. But there was one, one he could not protect. Time passed and the moment came. His mother. She died of old age. In her deathbed Talos glared into her icy eyes and prayed to the divines that she may enter Sovngarde, he took her amulet of Mara, as remembrance of his mother. There poor Talos was kneeling in the chapel before his mother, left behind in this cruel world all alone...

Lonely and lifeless, but loyal he was. He did not give up hope and shortly after his loss, the Jarl promoted him to be the General of Solitude. Talos was given his own small army. Merely five men besides himself, but which did not stop him accept the quest which would change his life. Talos led invaded Old Hrol'dan, which was in the hands of the Witchmen. Merely was six spear men versus hundreds, but the sharp mindedness led him and his army to a strategic victory. Two of his men died and honourable death, nevertheless his army grew as more and more men joined him. Talos increased in strength and learned new combat tactics and mechanics. This was recorded as Talos' first military victory, and as you will see soon enough many more will follow.
