Hi there, dear reader! Welcome to this Christmas special. I thought of this little idea while writing another story, and I just had to. I hope you enjoy!

As you know, I don't own Yuru Yuri or its characters.

On the billionth time she had Sakurako come to study together in her house, the girl did not fail to do everything but the actual homework. Anyone with a mind to lose would go insane with this level of stubborn, but not her. Himawari had been in this situation countless times before, she had to keep her cool and be patient.

"Argh... This is so boring! I wonder how you manage to do all this..."

Of course, it would not last for long.

"I do it because I want to have a good future. And I think you should too."

Sakurako was not satisfied.

"What, so you think this silly homework will keep me from having a good future? What a joke!"

Himawari frowned. "Then explain to me how you're going to get a good job like this! You won't even make it into university!"

Sakurako stuttered as she tried to figure out a reply; the blue-haired did have a point, and it did not seem like she could argue with that. But she would not accept defeat, and went with what came first to her mind.

"It doesn't matter, it's not like it's your future! Why do you even care!?"

Himawari raised her tone.

"Because I like you, that's why!"

The silence filled the room as the argument died as quick as it had started. Himawari had risen from her seat, kneeling and supporting herself with both hands on the table as she stared at Sakurako with a serious and determined look on her face. It all faded much quick as she realized the enormous blush that had grown in the other girl's face, so she instantly began trying to correct what she said...

"W-w-wait... well, actually, um, I mean... you know, like as i-"

…in vain.

"Himawari... d-do you really mean it?" Sakurako did not bother hiding her red face from the other girl, although she did not dare looking directly at Himawari's face, only making contact for a second before returning to the floor.

The one being lava-red now was Himawari. It was not like she had planned on saying anything like this, and now she would have to pay the price for her slip of tongue. Another look at Sakurako showed was definitely serious, and if she gave her the wrong answer, it would shatter the girl's heart. When did the other girl even start developing feelings for her? It was not like she did not like Sakurako too, but this could all be one of the chestnut-haired's jokes. Though, deep down, it felt worth the try. The girl decided to take the plunge.

"Y-... yes..."

Himawari did not notice it until it was too late. Sakurako had climbed on the table as she adjusted her height to match hers. The girl's face got closer and closer to hers, her orange orbs staring deeply into her gold-colored ones. Himawari's heartbeat sped up as she knew what was coming. The blue-haired closed her eyes shut; her face was probably looking ridiculous right now. She wished strongly that Sakurako was not joking, else this would be material for the girl to tease her for the rest of the year. The chestnut-haired approached even more, close enough to let Himawari hear how wild her heartbeat was. At that moment, she knew it could not be a joke.

.-.-.-.-.-.

"S-Sakurako... I'm not sure this is going to work..." A nervous Himawari complained. The girl had come up with a wonderful idea to speed up the homework: doing it while sitting in between the blue-haired's legs. The girl was quick to respond.

"What are you saying? Do you not trust the great Sakurako-sama?"

"Well..." Himawari blushed. She was barely recovered from kissing her a while ago and the girl was already at full blast. But the fact she was actually going to do her homework probably was a positive thing...

"Besides, this way I can stay closer to you..."

Himawari was troubled.
