- Prologue -
'Where am I' I thought, as I slowly opened my eyes. My head felt every, and ached as I got up, when memories of the what happened flooded my brain, 'Malefor, he's gone, but so is Ignitus' I thought, as tears started to fill my eye's as I got up on my legs, and fumbled on my legs as I regained my sense of balance.
"Cynder!" I screamed, as I remembered that she had been there, then I remembered that she had said something, she said she loved me, and I am sure as hell not going to lose her now.
"Cynder!" I screamed again as I started to run around the place, falling over every once in a while. I keep searching and I see a flash of light, which I quickly realize is a reflection, and notice an exit, as well as what it reflected off of.
'No,' I thought, as I ran over to the side of my fallen friend, which a pool of blood had formed around, then noticed the cut going down her whole side. I put my ear near her mouth and listen for breathing, and hear none. Just then I feel the ground rumble, as a rock hits me in the head, making me dizzy. I start to run towards the tunnel, when I turn around and realize I had left Cynder, when the entrance to the core collapses.
I ran, and ran out of the cave, only one thought in my head, 'why must she die,' I started to cry as the exit grew nearer, and I finally reached the exit and collapsed outside.
"Cynder," I screamed at the top of my lungs, 'why must you leave me?' I sat and stared at the sky, as I thought of the time we had spent together, of all the things we had accomplished, I never could have done any of them without her help.
'It's all gone,' I thought, as I aimlessly walked away from the shattered mountain, 'The one dragoness I had loved was the one I had lost,' I then started towards Warfang, where I knew I would find the guardians.help.
