A/N: Light: We know we should be updating our other story, but this idea's been in our head for a long time now.

Dark: I know right? Well, we'll update soon so…

Both: Don't you dare put a comment on Crona's gender! R&R and enjoy.

Crona stared at the Kishin blankly through his bangs. His blood was gathering all around him. The bandages on his body could not help him as they were his own skin.

"I don't know how to deal with being stuck on the moon with the Kishin," Crona said to his weapon, Ragnarok.

"It's fine, Crona," he replied.

"That's not very helpful…"

Ragnarok remained silent.

Crona looked up at the Kishin. It was amazing how much he looked like Kid.

"I will break out of here," Asura said. Crona looked up from his knees to stare at the Kishin in his eyes.

"Are you strong enough?" Crona asked. Asura growled as he narrowed his eyes. Crona released a small whimper as red slits peered at him.

"And who is stronger than me, Kishin Asura?"

"Well, Kid is…" said Crona, "He beat you. He's a shinigami. You're not."

"I am a death god though. The Lines of Sanzu on my hair is proof enough."

"But there's only two on yours, and…"

"And what?" asked Asura.

"Yours are broken…" answered Crona. Asura glared at the pink haired child again.

He coughed violently, blood spewing from his mouth.

"Are you dying?" Crona asked.

"Be…Be quiet…!" Asura hissed as he regained his breath. "Just release this bubble of black blood. If you don't, you'll just end up dying too."

Crona widened his eyes.

"I-I don't know how to deal with…with living on…" he said.

"What?"

"I know I've done some bad things. If I continue to live, madness will find me again. I-I'm…content to stay on the moon forever if it means it will begin to atone for my sins," said Crona.

Maka looked outside her window, staring at the black ball in the sky that was where the moon was.

Then…the black blood around the moon dissipated. The moon was back to its yellow, crescent form.

"Crona…BAKA!" Maka screamed as she broke down into tears.

"Oi, Maka, what—Oh…" soul said as he saw the moon, Maka cried even as Soul picked her up and rested her head against his chest.

"I'm sure Crona's happy now…where ever he is…" Soul said.
