When Natasha was small, she lived with her family and they were happy. Although her childhood was during the most terrible war: World War Two, she was too small to understand. She only cried because her mother often cried and looked scared. Natasha's father died in one of the battles. When her mother learned about it she died from grief and Natasha was left alone in the whole world.

But there was a kind man, a soldier, who had lost his family in one of the bombings. Natalia called him Dadya Grisha. He took her in and raised her as his own daughter. Natasha only remembered good things coming from him. Dadya Grisha was very tall and strong. He had a long black beard and a loud laughter. He used to pick her up and tell her some stories. Nobody knew how to tell stories better, or it was, what it seemed to a 4 year girl. Grisha worked on a factory nearby, so when he couldn't get somebody to sit with Natalia, he took her there. All workers knew Nat, and called her ангелочек (little angel). She soon almost forgot about her parents. You can't blame such a small girl for it. The life for her seemed to be happy. Although there wasn't so much food at that time, she always had something to eat. Sweets were rare, but somehow Grisha got some thing tasty for her every holiday.

This good time ended when strange men came into there house. Natasha was ten by the moment. Dadya Grisha tried to tellher to run away, but it was too late. They killed him. Nat was terrifiedand tried to hide in the corner, but it was too late.

"Is she old enough to be trained in the Red Room", asked one of them.

"Yes"

Then the man who spoke first grabbed Natasha and took her to the car.

So the Black Widow was born.

Author's note: the Red Room isn't some Russian official thing but a terrorist organization. It's like America's HYDRA.
