Chapter One - Introductions

Walking home one night, nursing fresh injuries, I had the horrible feeling of being watched. I turned around, but nothing was there. Shrugging it off I kept going, only to get the feeling again. Uttering,

"For the love of,"

I turn around thinking that it is someone playing a trick on me, but all I could see were the leaves strewn across the road, while the wind made them dance. Getting thoroughly creeped out , I only trudged through the leaves faster.

Getting home with a sigh of relief, I stomped to my room letting my brother know that I'm home. You see, our parents died when we were young. My brother has been taking care of me for as long as I can remember, and stomping to my room has been going on in this house since forever. Anyway, upon entering my room I felt a cold breeze go right through me. Thinking that my brother just left a window open, I think nothing of it. Throwing my bag on my desk, I lay down thinking of my day.

*Bare with me but...Flashback*

Walking into the school I hurriedly searched for a deserted hallway where I could wait for the bell. Turning a corner, I bumped right into the people I been trying to avoid. Tull and his friends.

"Well, well, well. What have we here?"

Ugh. His voice has that nasal quality to it that makes you want to gnaw your own ears off.

"A little pip-squeak freak who has no "manners". I just bought this jacket. Looks like someone need a lesson in etiquette."

We have been doing this dance since I moved here from wherever it was, I forget the place. I took a hard punch to my face, feeling my nose break. Another person came at me while I was holding my face and punches me in the stomach. As I double over in pain, my eyes watering, I feel myself being lifted off the ground. There was only one spot they would take to time to put me. In a locker.

"No! Not a locker!"

I managed to gasp out, but it was no use. They had already thrown me in. I sink down to the bottom thinking that the only way I'll be getting out is if someone notices I'm gone. Since I don't have any friends, it normally takes awhile. Last time I tried calling for help, only to end up with a sore throat.

*End of Flashback (Yeah)*

Everyday, Tull tries to hit me at least once. Nobody helps me, and I'm to scared of what they might do if I try to tell someone. Sighing, I sit t my desk for the next few hours doing homework before drifting off into a restless sleep.
