"Ahhh I am so tired! JEENAAAA!"
"What is it?"
"Did u cook dinner?"
"No"
"Dooo itttt"
"Shuddup and get some yourself"
"Too tired"
"Well that's your problem then"
Link was lying on the couch. He undid his Tie and slipped out of his shoes.
His job at the office was tiring and he had come home late again. Jenna wasn't particularly happy about it.
"Fine.. What do you want?"
Jenna had gotten up from the computer.
She put on her apron. She was wearing a black , pencil skirt that ended just over her knees. Under that a black pair of tight and a bright blue sweatshirt that belonged to Link.
"Make me something"
"We only have some instant Ramen. That ok?" Jenna asked in a nerved tone.
"Yeah.. Thanks, honey."
"… no problem"
They had been living as a couple for a few months now. They had been going out before that but they just moved in together.
Jenna brought the cup with noodles over to the couch.
Link had already changed into a sweatshirt and some loose boxers.
"wear pants at home"
"why ? you are the only one here and you saw more then that."
Jenna blushed a little.
"humph.. You are gonna catch a cold." Jenna said while looking the other way.
Link turned on the TV.
Some anime was on. Some rerun as always.
"let's watch something else." Jenna said after a while.
"how about radio?"
"sure."
It was around Christmas and of course the radio was playing "Last Christmas" over and over.
After Jenna had finished her cup of noodles she got up to light the fireplace.
Link got himself a blanket.
Jenna sat next to him a little space between them.
Suddenly the world turned .
Jenna was lying on her back , legs hanging in the air and over her face was link's.
"hey.." He said softly.
"uh.. Hi.." Jenna responded hesitantly.
Link gave her a soft kiss on the forehead, then the cheek, then the lips.
Jenna blushed. She was embarrassed and flustered. What did just happen? What had gotten into him?
"uh.. I" Jenna stuttered.
"I.. love you.." Link said with a soft and warm voice.
"what?" Jenna's eyes went wide.
"Thank you for everything. For being there. For being with me. Remember how we talked about about our first Christmas together.. And how you were all flustered about presents? I don't need anything.. If I have you."
"Wha.. Wha.." That was it. Jenna was beat red. What was with him?
"What's with-" Jenna was cut off by Links lips on hers.
"I love you… Jen.."
"Ah…. Uhm.. Me.. Me too.."
Jenna wrapped her arms around Link's neck and kissed him.
Link and Jenna's first Christmas together was a beautiful one.
Of course later Jenna and Link got presents for each other. That's just how they are.
But one thing is for sure: Their Love for each other is their best present.
