Author's Note: Please read "Act Naturally" before reading this story.
I needed to write a new story for my Writer's Workshop class, and after 3 failed attempts, I wrote this one. Um... yay for Haruhi and Tamaki!

Title comes from a song by CHEMISTRY.
Dance With
Me
(sequal to "Act Naturally")
By
Kusabi
"I
only want to dance with you."
Upon
hearing his words, Haruhi froze. She may have been a typically
oblivious person, but since these words were coming from Taamki, she
knew exactly what he meant.
"Senpai…
I…"
Before
she could say anything, Tamaki cut her off, since he was
suddenly nervous. "Oh, look, we're done with the cleaning," he
hurriedly spoke. "We should be on our way."
Nodding,
Haruhi agreed, slightly upset that she didn't get a chance to say
anything back to him. Suddenly realizing that she had no way home,
and it also happened to be past midnight, she called out to him, "Ah,
senpai… I have no way to get home…"
"I
can have my driver take you home as well," he said happily. Then
the realization of what he had just done came to him.
Just
the two of us… in my limo…
After
his inner-mind-theatre vision of him with Haruhi, he mentally slapped
himself, realizing that his original reason for heading home was to
get out of an awkward situation… and now he was throwing himself
into another.
"Thank
you, senpai," Haruhi replied, with a small smile on her face.
However,
since Haruhi's home was forty minutes away from the school, they
both knew that it would be quite an awkward ride.
The
first five minutes passed in awkward small talk, and the next five in
awkward silence. Haruhi, not being able to stand the quiet tension
between them, finally spoke up.
"Senpai,
the truth is…" She fumbled in the dark of her mind for words.
Haruhi definitely wasn't a romantic person, and everyone knew that.
Yet, she didn't want to simply say, 'oh, yeah, I like you
too…'. With a mental sigh, just decided to say the first
words that came to mind.
"I…
I want to dance with you too.."
Quickly
looking out the window, Tamaki told the driver to stop the car. As
they came to a halt, he pulled Haruhi out of the limo, and over
towards a riverbank. It was abandoned at this time of night, since it
was nearly one in the morning by this time.
"Um,
senpai, what are you doing?"
Smiling
down at her, Tamaki put his left arm around her waits, and took her
left hand in his right. He began leading her in a waltz, with the
moonlight shining down on them. Even without music, the two danced,
not breaking eye contact.
After
three minutes, they stopped, as Tamaki intentionally froze. "Haruhi…"
"What
is it, senpai?"
"…………………………ireallyreallylikeyou."
These were the only words he could stumble out, and unfortunately, he
said them a bit too fast for his own liking. Way to be, idiot…
Emitting
a small, unexpectedly girlish giggle, she replied, "What was that?
I couldn't understand you."
Turning
slightly red, he sighed. "I… really, really like… you…"
Smiling
up at him, Haruhi could feel herself blushing. At the moment, she
knew she was acting different from her usual personality, but she
didn't care at all. All she cared about was that moment.
"I
like you too, senpai…"
