"It's pretty unsalvageable isn't it?"

Xephos hummed in acknowledgement not wanting to believe that all their hard work had been ruined. After the world had changed, all of the factory's marble walls had disappeared and nearly all the pipes had turned to sand.

"At least we enjoyed it while it worked." he replied eventually. Honeydew laughed at the memory.

"I had never eaten so many Jaffa Cakes."

"We still have Yoglabs and the Moonquest project." Xephos said hopefully.

"Yeah…"

Silently they flew through what was left of the factory. The giant monstrosity of machine Xephos had built, Clucky's pen, Lalna's lab level, the storage and sorting level that was full of all sorts of junk, the freezer level where the precious ingredients for the Jaffa's had been stored, the assembly level where the magic had happened, Honeydew's penthouse at the top, with his car bed, the hot tub, and Jeevs the iron golem. And then up through the roof where they could see the entire facility. The silly Santa statue Honeydew had made for the holidays. The Christmas tree, the Jaffa café, the pub and the hot dog stand that they never really used. The great egg railway, which was now rusty with it's lack of use. The dorms where they would sleep off the night after a long day of work. The giant egg where the rest of the chickens roosted. The red-eyed cow slug where old Bessie was grazing.

"Hey friend?" Xephos asked "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Honeydew grinned. "Go out with a bang."

They took Jeevs, Bessie, Clucky and the rest of the chickens and set them free a safe distance away. Stringing TNT like tinsel across the factory and surrounding area. They wired it to set off all at once.

"Do the honors buddy." Xephos tossed his friend a flint and steel.

And with that the fuse was lit, and they watched the Jaffa factory go out with a bang.
