The slow, steady breathing of Sasuke was heard under the blanket. Itachi was pleased with how he had handled Sasuke. Sasuke was down with flu and his fever rose to 40 degrees Celsius. Sasuke had pleaded with Itachi with his dark, round eyes, covered with tears which looked like little crystals which shone in the dark, threatening to roll down his cheeks. Itachi had agreed to stay with Sasuke until he fell asleep. But, he wouldn't do that unless Sasuke agrees to put a damp towel over his forehead. Sasuke reluctantly agreed. The coolness of the water made Sasuke relax, which made him slowly fall back, into the comfort of his soft, orange pillow.

"Read me a story! I can't sleep without a story! That's what kaa-san does!" Sasuke argued with Itachi.

"Tone down Sasuke…just go to sleep…I promise to stay here.." Itachi said, keeping his cool.

"Bur…But..Please…." Sasuke pouted.

Itachi relented and decided to read just one short story, the shortest one he could find in Sasuke's story book.

"Okay, but just one." Itachi told his brother.

Sasuke agreed, and lied down on the pillow, sucking on his thumb. Finally, the story was told, and Sasuke fell asleep. Itachi found the book interesting, so he read it silently.

"Hmm..i didn't know kiddy stuff was so interesting."

Itachi thought to himself, a smile spreading across his face.

"pitter,patter,pitter,patter…"

It started drizzling, so Itachi closed the windows. The sound of raindrops were ringing in his head as he remembered that night.

"Aniki!" Sasuke called after Itachi as Itachi walked in front of him.

Sasuke had tripped over a rock and fell, unable to get up, he called his brother, who was always there for him.

"Sasuke…You fell on your knees first, didn't you?" Itachi groaned.

"Ano…" Sasuke giggled. His brother told him before not to fall on his knees first a few hundreds of times but Sasuke didn't really listen.

"Ugh!" Itachi groaned even louder, picking his little brother up.

"Ouch, aniki, my boo-boo!" Sasuke cried out, as his knees were laid flat on to his brother's back.

As Itachi walked slowly, but steadily, hoping to make sure Sasuke's knee wasn't touching his back. It started drizzling, and soon it rained.

"WATER! OUCH OUCH OUCH MY BOO-BOO!" Sasuke cried as the rain dripped onto his injured knee. Itachi used his hand to shield Sasuke's knee, and could hardly carry Sasuke properly. They reached an inn soon enough before they got wet from head to toe. Itachi tended to the wounds, and after lots of moaning and groaning from Sasuke, it was nicely bandaged.

"Thank you Aniki!" Sasuke's pouted lips turned into a smile.

Itachi tucked him into bed and sat by his bedside, waiting for him to fall asleep.

"I-love-you. Thank you aniki." Sasuke whispered, and fell asleep.
