Notes: I actually had this idea for long while now, and I can't believe no one else has thought of this crossover before. So anyhow here's the first chapter of Kingdom Calibur.
Time Line: Sometime after Kingdom Hearts 2 and during Soul Calibur 3
Chapter 1: The Darkest Dream
In a tropical clearing, a young blond girl dressed in white was walking through.
Namine' was waiting for a certain someone. Ever since both she and Roxas had become
one with Kairi and Sora, they would meet each other in this dream realm. So technically
every time they would meet, it is a dream that Sora and Kairi were having. Usually both
she and Roxas would meet each other at the same time.
But this time Roxas was late.
After a few minutes, Namine sat on a rock and sighed. "Where is he?" she wondered.
Then suddenly a bright light illuminated the area. Namine shielded her eyes. After a few minutes she unshielded her eyes and looked around. Her eyes then lay upon an object, she gasped.
The object was a person, not just any person. It was Roxas! He looked liked he was in a battle and lost. His cloths were tattered and he was bleeding on his arms and face. Both the Oathkeeper and Oblivion keyblades were in his hands.
"ROXAS!!!" Namine shouted.
Roxas stirred a bit and looked up. "Namine? Namine, what are you doing here?" Roxas asked.
"Roxas, what happened to you?" Namine asked, ignoring his question.
"Never mind that, but you have to leave this realm now!" Roxas shouted.
"But, why?!" Namine asked a little worried.
Before Roxas could answer, the entire dream realm seemed to burst into flames. Out of the flames a figure appeared. Namine could not make out the figure, but she could tell it was wearing armor of sorts. In the figures right hand was the most horrifying keyblade Namine had ever saw. It was made of rotting flesh and bone, the key part of the blade looked liked jagged teeth, and at the center was a demonic eye that seemed to look every direction in a hungry gaze.
"So this is where you went to." The figure said, then the figure noticed Namine, "And you are not alone."
Roxas then was in front Namine. "Namine, leave here now!" He ordered, and then charged to the mysterious figure. Namine gasped as Roxas and the stranger fought. Though Roxas had two keyblades, he was being out powered by the stranger. Roxas then tried to strike the stranger with his Oblivion but was blocked by the grotesque keyblade of the stranger. Roxas then tried use his OathKeeper, but was caught by the stranger's right hand, which in Namine's viewpoint looked very demonic.
Then the stranger tossed Roxas aside, but Roxas recovered. Roxas, with a mighty battle cry charged at the stranger. The stranger also charged. Both warriors collided and strike. Both were facing away from each other, but after a few minutes Roxas fell. The stranger then walked over to Roxas and lifted him by the neck. Slowly the stranger started to drain the energy from Roxas. His keyblades disappeared and his body started to fade. Namine, with tears in her eyes, could only watch in horror.
Roxas looked weakly at her direction. "Namine…." With that Nobody keyblade wielder disappeared.
The stranger laughed, and then looked right at Namine. Namine could now see his glowing red eyes. The stranger pointed his keyblade right at her.
"Now, give me your soul!!!"
Kairi woke up screaming from her bed. She gasped a few time before she realized were she was. She calmed down a bit before looked out the window with a grim look on her face.
"Something has happened to Sora." was all she could say.
