My first Fanfic, sorry if there is any incorrect sentences and phrases

For my first fan fic I tried paring up to unlikely cats LionxHazel. Pleas review

It was almost sun high, the first shadows of leaf-bare were creeping over the forest, cool breezes flowing through the sky, as I emerged out of the warriors den into the clearing I felt a blast of cool air hit my face. I padded to the fresh kill pile and picked out a good size thrush.

As I stood back up and turned around, and found myself nose to nose with Hazeltail,

A small gray and white she-cat, I stepped back nervously "Sorry, Hazeltail," I meowed, "That's okay, Lionblaze" she mewed back,

And nuzzled me affectionately on the ear; I felt my pelt tingle and stepped back nervously. "

We'll see you then," I called as padded back to the warriors den without waiting for a reply.

As I gulped down the last pieces f my fresh-kill I heard Bramleclaw organizing hunting patrols,

I felt my paws tingle for action, so I bounded out into the clearing to meet them. "All right Brightheart, Cloudtail, you and two others will go,"

Bramleclaw was saying

"Can I go," I meowed, "me to," I turned my head to see hazeltail padding up to meet us.

"All right you four then," and with that we bounded out through the bramble screen, and into the forest.

Cloudtail and Brightheart went off and hunted towards the Shadowclan border, which just left me and Hazeltail,

"How about we try by the Windclan border," Hazeltail suggested, "okay," I agreed and we started padding through the forest.

We were bounding through the undergrowth when I heard Hazeltail whisper to me, "race you," "you're on" I whispered back, and then we were speeding through the forest,

At first I wasn't going full speed, until I saw Hazeltail easily moving ahead, here body elegantly maneuvering through the forest, so I extended my paws to the ground faster until I was right on her tail.

Then I felt my forepaw tug on the ground from an uprooted tree root, and before I knew it I was flying through the air, I felt my head impact into Hazeltail body, and we fell to the forest ground,

"mouse dung," I muttered, "I guess it's a tie then," Hazeltail purred into my ear, her scent was sweet, it warmed my pelt as I breathed it in, I stood up; embarrassment burning into my pelt

"Sorry," I mewed, "It's all right," There was amusement in her tone instead of annoyance "come on, we'd better catch something and get back to camp, before Bramleclaw Claw's are ear's off for being late.

It was almost sundown once we made it to camp, we dropped our kill into the pile;

I'd managed to catch a vole, and two small mice' I glanced around the clearing, Brambleclaw, and Squirrelflight were sharing a thrush by the high ledge, besides that, everyone else were sleeping in their dens, and I thought I could use some rest,

I touched my tail tip to Hazeltail's shoulder "Come on, we should get some rest," I meowed, "Oh, right," she sounded dreamy, I felt here pelt leaning against mine, heating up my pelt, she stood up normally and together,

we padded to the warriors den. The cold breezes of leaf- bare had settled inside the warriors den. Most cats bunched up together to keep warm. I found an untouched pile of moss in one corner of the den and I settled myself there,

I felt Hazeltail's sweet scent surround me and felt her pelt brush on mine as she settled next to me, here warmth seemed to chase the coldness of leaf-bare far away,

"Uh good catch today," I trailed off, not know what else to say,

then I felt her tongue rasp over my cheek, her eyes were filled with affection

"Good night" she said gently, then she closed her eyes. There was a strange feeling prickling my pelt, though it was familiar. I decided to let it go for now and yet I still couldn't shake the feeling there was something else in her eyes, something happy. I thought better of it, closed my eyes, and fell to sleep.
