A/N: I know I'm not a great author, but I wanted to take a shot at a story I have been contemplating. I know you're thinking "wow another betrayal story" I plan on making this story very different.

Artemis POV:

"PERCY JACKSON!" Poseidon bellowed.

"For your contribution to Olympus and your countless acts of heroism we offer you Godhood."

The council has agreed upon for the first time unanimously to bestow godhood upon Percy Jackson. Of course they decide to corrupt the only good man with a tempting offer of godhood. Who could refuse?

"No" Percy said. "I appreciate the offer, but with my wish I would like to ask that you stop ignoring your kids. Stop letting uprisings happen because of a demi-god feeling unloved by their godly pare- "WHAT!" Zeus screamed. "How could you deny the greatest gift available?"

As I was watching these surprising events, I noticed Percy smiling at Annabeth. I could care less if the man was turned into a god or not. I started to respect him very much after he took the sky in my place. I couldn't believe he turned down godhood. This son of Poseidon was a very perplexed being, hard to understand, but at the same time easily readable.

Percy POV:

When he asked me to be a god, i had to fight the urge to cry out in joy. I couldn't believe godhood was right in front of me, all i had to do was say yes. As i looked around me I noticed Annabeth looking at the ground sadly. I couldn't bring myself to leave her, after she declined the hunters for me two years ago.

"No." "I appreciate the offer, but with my wish I would like to ask that you stop ignoring your kids. Stop letting uprisings happen because of a demi-god feeling unloved by their godly pare-" "WHAT!" Zeus screamed. "How could you deny the greatest gift available?"

I have a good reason I denied the offer, but I decided to come up with another excuse, not wanting to exploit my relationship with Annabeth. "I would rather have you claim your demigod children by the age of 13, and build cabins for all of the gods and goddesses including Hades."

"That is do-able father, I see many conflicts being stopped if we stop neglecting our children" said Athena.

"Very well Perseus your requests shall be fufill-"

"Wait," Percy said. "Also I would request the freedom of Calypso from her Island, I think her time has been served."

"You ask for a lot young one." Zeus said.

"Please swear on the Styx that you will fulfill my requests." Percy said.

"Fine, I swear on the Styx that we will fulfill the terms you have laid out." Zeus said.

Annabeth POV:

"Annabeth Chase" Athena said.

As I walked to the middle of the throne room I could not help but feel elated that Percy would turn down godhood for me. I was almost in tears when he said no. It's only going to break my heart more to tell him of the relationship I have started with another man.

"For convincing the traitor to end himself, we deem you a heroine of Olympus, and offer you immortality at my side. Do you accept?" Athena said.

"I accept."

A/N: Just to be clear, I do want this to be a pertemis fic, but I am open to any other pairings besides Annabeth. I have no hate towards her character, but I just can't bring myself to write a story about her. I know this is short, but it is just the prologue, I plan on having 7-10k words per regular chapter.
