Debt
"Another thousand, Haruhi."
Somehow, the fury on Haruhi Fujioka's face satisfied him. In the back of his head, the little voice would admit only to itself and never to others that Haruhi looked cute when she was angry. Of course, who would find out what Kyoya Ohtori was thinking? He was a walking enigma. Okay, sure, Tamaki could pull at Kyoya's strings with little effort. But to be able to look beyond his crafty smile and calculating brain was impossible. Maybe it was beyond impossible. The only one who could know his most internal thoughts was Kyoya himself.
He wanted her to stay there in the Third Music Room, with the Host Club, and most importantly, with him. He was calculating and shrewd. He could easily find ways to keep her there. He could use interest of her debt to add up. He could make her pay for the costumes she wore or the food she ate at the club. It was endless. There were so many ways to manipulate her debt into staying. After all, that was all that kept her at the Host Club – her debt.
What would happen if she was able to meet her quota of a thousand customers? She would be gone in the blink of an eye. Was it possible that she had grown fond of the club and would stick around even further? Highly unlikely.
If she was gone from the club, it would possibly be the last time he would see her. He was a year ahead of her and there was no chance they could have a class together. Although, he wouldn't be the only one upset about it. Tamaki was very attached to Haruhi.
Oh, yes. Another issue to be addressed. He wasn't the only one who liked Haruhi. Tamaki was unaware of his feelings for the commoner, but it was bluntly obvious. The twins both had something for the girl as well. To be serious, Kyoya was sure he had the least chance to be with Haruhi. She was somewhat scared of his behavior and of him. But that all didn't matter. He merely wanted to be near her. In a way he was acting like a possessive child without flinging his feelings around.
Kyoya let out a small sigh. Now, how should he increase her debt next?
Short, but there is nothing wrong with that. This is how I thought what would happen if Kyoya liked Haruhi. It does seem like something he would do, right?
