A Different Point of View
Summary: As many of you know, Harry Potter is not the average boy. In this story, you can see just he started to realize this. Told from the point of view of many people including Vernon Dursley, Petunia Dursley, Dudley Dursley, Albus Dumbledore, and a certain dark lord.
Chapter 1 : From Albus Dumbledore's Secret Journal
March 28.
I am actually quite astounded that it has happened so early. Of course, I should have expected it; him being Harry Potter, but this early? Only from the son of Lily and James Potter could we see such a startlingly early and humbling display of power. I am talking, of course, of Harrys' first sign of magic. It was a rather pleasing sight, to see a little revenge on those horrid animals that call themselves human beings. Hem- hem, that was harsh of me, I let myself get carried away. Anyway, I believe I got a tad off-topic. The first sign of magic that Harry has shown so far in his life is a glamour charm. Seeing as he is only 9 months living, such an amazing glamour charm is startling, yet refreshing at the same time. I have stored this particular memory in my penseive, but I still feel a certain duty to record what has happened on paper. Memories can be so easily tampered with. As I was saying, as his first sign of magic, Harry James Potter has changed the appearance of the 3 other members of his household. I almost laughed when they came to me early this morning looking the most ridiculous I had ever seen a human being. Vernon Dursley had bright blue hair including his moustache, and it would seen that his whole wardrobe has been turned a rather flattering shade of magenta with green polka-dots all over. His wife, Petunia, had a similar wardrobe, but the background colour was blue, as opposed to magenta. Harry really does have fine taste, seeing as he had also changed the colour of her skin and hair to the most pukish shade of brown that I have ever seen. Their spoiled son Dudley, however, seemed to be a mixture of both: taking on his father's wardrobe and hair colour, and his mother's skin colour. Until there is more news, I will remain silent about this matter. I have repaired the damage done to the Dursleys, but have not had them obliviated.
