Sari's America

Author's note: I thought of this when I was in the bathroom for some reason, and I figured why not write it.

"I don't get the way Earth works with all these 'countries' as you call them." Prowl said.

It was Saturday and Sari was at the Autobot base showing them where the countries were in the world. "It's just easier for us that way." she replied. "Anyway, the country you're in right now is called the United States of America."

"How many states are there?" Bumblebee asked.

"Fifty." Sari replied. "It's kind of hard to remember all of them though."

"Uh, Sari, aren't you going to name them for us?" Bulkhead asked.

"Sure." she replied. She handed Optimus Prime a list of the states and capitals.

Ratchet took a look at it. "Boy it is hard to remember."

"Not with this song." Sari replied. A map of the U.S.A. appeared behind her and she started singing.

Baton Rouge, Louisianna, Indiannapolis, Indianna

And Colombus is the capital of Ohio.

There's Montgomery Alabama, south of Helena, Montanna

Then there's Denver, Colorado next to Boise, Idaho

Texas has Austin, then we go north

To Massachussettes, Boston and Albany New York

Tallahassee, Florida and Washington D.C.

And then Santa Fe, New Mexico and Nashville, Tenessee

"By the way, Washington D.C. is just the country's capital." she said. "I don't know why it's included."

Trenton's in New Jersey, north of Jefferson, Missouri

You've got Richmond in Virginia, South Dakota has Pierre

Harrisburg's in Pennsylvania and Augusta's up in Maine

And here's Providence, Rhode Island next to Dover, Delaware

Concord, New Hampshire, just a quick jaunt

To Montepelier which is up in Vermont

Hartford's in Connecticut, so pretty in the fall

And Kansas has Topeka; Minnesota has Saint Paul

Juneau's in Alaska and there's Lincoln in Nebraska

And it's Raleigh out in North Carolina and then

There's Madison, Wisconsin and Olympia in Washington

Phoenix, Arizona and Lansing Mchigan

Here's Honolulu; Hawaii's a joy

Jackson, Mississippi and Springfield, Illinois

South Carolina with Colombia on the way

And Annapolis in Maryland on Chesapeake Bay

Cheyenne is Wyoming and perhaps you make your home in

Salt Lake City out in Utah where the buffalo roam

Atlanta's down in Georgia and there's Bismarck, North Dakota

And you can live in Frankfurt in your old Kentucky home

Salem in Oregon; from there we join

Little Rock in Arkansas; Iowa's got Des Moines

Sacramento, California; Oaklahoma and it's city

Charleston, West Virginia and Nevada, Carson City

That's all the capitals and states

"Nice job." Bumblee said.

"What was that you were doing again?" Bulkhead asked.

"Singing." Sari said.

Let's just say she won't explain how singing works until next time...

Author's note: Yeah, I'm a big Animaniacs freak, but I didn't watch it when it was originally on. I found out about it back in 2007 and decided it was interesting and got Volume 1 for Christmas. I'm hoping to get Wakko's wish for my birthday and then at some point Volume 2 and Volume 3 of Animaniacs.
