In The Night
Sunrise is as beautiful as ever.
Even as I stand here alone and watch,
remembering all those old memories.
Recalling the love I felt.
Love I never knew I could feel.
I was given a gift when she entered my life.
A gift I'll always be thankful for.
I tried to push it away, fearing it.
She refused to let me do so.
Sunrise will always hold a special place
Deep within my heart.
She made me see it.
And now I always will.
Never again will I be lost in the night.
