He watched him from afar, pretending he didn't care. But inside his heart was aching. Harry had always liked the cold but this kind of frigidness hurt. Ice in his eyes, ice in his heart; It stabbed like daggers at Harry's vulnerable soul.
His grace came off as pompous and arrogant but Harry could tell that underneath it all was just a boy as weak and frightened as everyone else. Harry just had to find a way to break the boundaries, to melt the ice and start a fire.
But how would he deflate an ego that was that swollen?
