In an oprhanage is a young boy at the age of 16 with silver hair and gray eyes. He's an interesting fellow who has interests in engineering and mechanics but what brought him into those fields is one man.
The boy was inspired by this man who was very rich, owns a nine billion dollar industry, has developed a new renewable energy source that can power anything. But most of all, its the suit that this man has built to becoming a superhero.
And his name is Iron Man. The boy known as Drake adores the suit and its capabilities. He's always dreamed of walking in Stark's foosteps of his hero journey. However, Drake believes that he can create a better suit and hope impress Tony Stark or maybe one day he can be selected to be in the Avengers.
Those dreams are what he would want to wish to come true. Not only building a suit but also to save lives, as disastrous events go by, countless deaths have increase due to Iron Man not being able to save a lot of people due to the limitations of his suit.
Drake is determined to wanting to make the world a better place but not in Stark's view.
June 6 ...
Still in bed while in PJs, Drake is reading over a magazine with the title, " The secrets of Tony Stark". There has been countless articles from reporters of Tony Stark's misdeeds even his history going all the way back to Howard Stark.
Drake wishes that Tony shouldn't be going down that route but hey it's Tony Stark with money.
For 8 years Drake has been stuck in this orphanage, not liking its crappy conditions and the orphans who are mostly jerks. Few of the other orphans are an exception since they never got on to his nerves. Many times he tries to remember his own parents but can't remember them due to the mysterious brain damage he had when he arrived.
The pain is numb to him but still makes him curious of what caused it and where did his parents go.
While lost in his mind at the moment, a knock on the door was heard. " Come in." he says a bored, monologue tone.
The door opens revealing a tall, sleek figure who's 4 inches taller than him, wearing an expensive, black suit. Has black, stylish hair and wearing classic sun glasses.
" Are you Drake?" he says with the familiar tone that Drake has. heard of.
The figure's appeareance almost blew Drake out of water.
" Y-Y-Your Tony Stark!!" he says with excitement."
" Hehehe so you know who I am at first glimpse." says Tony with a bright attitude.
" I do and I love your inventions including your suits." says Drake, knowing that he's showing the geek side of him.
" I get that a lot." he says casually.
" S-S-So what are you doing here?"
" Lets just say that I'm looking for an apprentice for my legacy."
" Wait. Your bringing me along with you as your apprentice?" says Drake almost wanting to wet his pants.
" Why sure besides I would like to have a son."
Those last words almost made Drake sniffle for a bit but regained his composure. " I'll do it."
5 min later...
Outside in front of the Orphanage, Drake now in a white shirt with a checker pattern jacket over it, hops into a long, black limo already prepped. As both of them got in, the limo already takes off.
" I can't believe that I'm going to adopted by the one and only."
" Relax kid, this is a rare occassion for me since I'm a hell of a lot busy."
" True, what's it like with you revealing yourself to tge world that your Iron Man."
" Well it felt good, finally don't have to hide my identity like Batman. I've also exposed myself to more villains now that I'm very well known.
" Oh, so do you think that I'll get to you know?" twirling his fingers.
" Hahahaha. Well will see what you got Jr."
For ten minutes they've talked, mostly now about the Avengers and other inventions Stark has in mind that he'll want to construct. This is the best day Drake has ever had in his life. As the limo slows down, Drake looks through the windows of what appears to be a tall, slim tower with a large A at the top.
The limo stops, Tony gets out first and Drake last as he examines the tower. " Wow."
" Welcome to the Avengers' Tower Drake Stark." says Tony in his profoundly manner.
Will end it there, in the future will be crossovers to this story and Drake so stay tuned.
