"We believe a man by the codename of Bloodsport is going to attack the waterfront with a cloaked missile. An advanced cloaking device that not even my X-ray vision will pick up." I explained, worried about what would happen. Josh gasped lightly and looked a little scared. "Don't worry, I'll keep the waterfront safe. I promise." I said. "Come on, let's go to sleep. Though, we should probably take a shower." I said.

We both got into the shower. I turned it to hot, because that's what Josh liked. After getting out of the shower and getting cleaned off, we both got into bed, me being the big spoon. I kissed his forehead gently, his light snoring already filling the room.

The next day

J'onn and I were standing on a rooftop, watching the people hurry to get the best spots. I saw Josh standing in front, near Maggie. I heard Maggie and Alex's conversation, but I was paying attention to J'onn. He was talking about how he flew for battle, not pleasure. "How did you meet Josh?" He asked. "As Supergirl, or as Kara? As Supergirl, I saved him from a piece of rubble he was trapped under during the Daxamite invasion. As Kara, he is my secretary. Also, I told him I'm Supergirl." I said. J'onn sighed and shook his head. "I told him because I don't like keeping secrets from him, and he can keep that a secret."

Before J'onn could respond, there was an explosion, and the waterfront shook majorly. "Did you see where that came from? I didn't hear or see anything." I yelled over the chaos. J'onn shook his head. "I can try and locate DuBois telepathically." He said, his eyes glowing red and his Martian voice distorting his speech. I saw Josh running away, and Alex and Maggie evacuating people.

I closed my eyes, and focused on the sound I wanted to hear. A heartbeat in the middle of the ocean. I zoomed to the water, holding my breath as long as I could. A massive submarine was aiming torpedoes at the waterfront. I shoved the torpedo back in the launch tube, but then I was knocked unconscious by a second torpedo. I saw Josh's face. "Get up! I believe in you!" He exclaimed. I opened my eyes, and got under the submarine, lifting the entire thing out of the water, effectively stopping the attack.

After confronting Morgan Edge, the man behind the attack, I visited L-Corp to talk with Lena. She told me she bought Catco to stop Edge from buying it. We arranged brunch for Saturday, provided nothing happened. I flew to the bar and joined my family for the hangout. After that, I flew Josh and I home, were we both fell asleep after changing into PJs.

Sam Arias third person POV (nightmare sequence)

Sam was in the bathroom, calming down after her daughter Ruby was nearly killed. She was trying to bend a crowbar in half after lifting a support beam off of Ruby single handedly. She gave up, going to bed. She woke up in a field with a house, the same field and house from Kara's dream. She saw her body was covered with Kryptonian symbols, and her eyes were glowing red with heat vision. She started hurting everyone Kara cared about. She woke up in a cold sweat. What was that? I would never do that! I need to forget about that and focus on Ruby!
