I Forgive You
You've hurt people in the past.
Caused a lot of pain.
But I can forgive you.
I never knew you were so jealous,
that hatred would cloud your heart.
Always know that I always loved
you, my brother.
Despite your evil, despite what
you do, I could never hate
you as a person.
What you do may hurt me.
What you say might anger me.
But you, you as a person,
mean the universe to me.
I know you still have a heart,
and I will try to reach it again.
To return the goodness that still
lies within your soul.
I am here, my brother, right beside you.
Despite all you do, despite all you
have become, just know that I love
and forgive you.
Because I know that deep down,
you are not truly evil.
