Rabastan saw her years later. She had a little girl with bright pink hair with her. She still looked as regal as ever. Black tendrils of hair framed her delicate face. Rabastan still loved her after all this time. Seeing her talking to her daughter so animatedly was enough for him. He quickly changed his path and walked in Flourish and Botts. He was looking for a book on early broomsticks. He did not want her to see him. He planned on avoiding her entirely. Right as he was about to leave he saw a new shelf of books and started looking them over.
Thousands of people live in this town
And I had to run into her
When I saw you there on that busy street
Those feelings came back again
There was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
You walked up to me and looked in my eyes
"Rabastan is that you?" An all too familiar voice asked.
And still the world stood still
I couldn't move
And all I could feel
Was this aching in my heart
Saying I loved her still
"Andy how have you been?" He asked with fake warmth.
I said how have you been, it's great to see you again
You're really a sight for sore eyes
She said I can't complain
Oh I'm doing fine
We talked as the people rushed by
"Great and you?"
"Fine. Is that your daughter Nymphadora?"
We laughed about old times and all we went through
That's when she hugged me and said I've missed you
"Yes she's going off to Hogwarts this year. So have you found a wife?"
And still the world stood still
I couldn't move
And all I could feel
Was this aching in my heart
Saying I loved her still
"No. I figure I'll leave the marriage thing to Rod." He smiled. "Are you happy Andy?" He asked a searching look on his face.
That's when she walked up to her
She said this is my child
I gave my best smile but I was dying inside
She said we've gotta go now it's getting late
"Yes Rab I am." She said sincerely. She didn't say that she would be happier with him.
It was so good to see you
And then they walked away
"I want you to know I loved you enough to let you go. Goodbye Andromeda." He whispered in ear. Then he walked away, even though with each step his heart was breaking all over again.
And still my world stood still I couldn't move but all I could feel
