A year had passed since Cell's downfall by Gohan and life was finally back to normal in the Son house... well, almost.

Chichi hummed happily to herself as she chopped up some vegetables for lunch. Arena sat on the couch, also humming as she scribbled on some paper. She paused a moment to admire her work as a knock sounded on the front door.

"Come in!" Chichi called from the kitchen. The door slowly opened to admit a large figure.

"Good day to you ladies," Piccolo said, turning his broad shoulders slightly to get in the door. "Just.. checking... up....? He trailed off, catching an odd musky scent with his sensitive nose. He puzzled over the strangely familiar smell a moment. Suddenly his eyes widened as he realized where it was coming from. "Where is Brenna?" He asked sharply.

"She's upstairs studying with Gohan-" Chichi said from the kitchen.

Before she could go on, Piccolo was dashing up the stairs. The breeze from his cape made Arena's hair fly up wildly.

"Woah! That was so cool." She commented, pulling loose strands from her face and giggling.

Meanwhile upstairs in Gohan's room, Brenna lay on her belly across from Gohan on his bed. He looked over at her every so often nervously. He, like Piccolo, had noticed a slight change in her scent.

"Are you sure you didn't put any perfume on?" He asked again for the millionth time that day.

"Yes, I'm sure. Why do you keep asking me that, Gohan?" She looked at him oddly as her tail twitched closer to him.

"Just curious; eheheh, it's no big deal!" He said nervously. His voice cracked.

Brenna giggled and closed her biology book. "I think it is a big deal. Study time's over until you tell me." She said coyly. She crawled over to lay beside him and closed his history book. His eyes darted nervously around the room, then back to Brenna. He gulped.

"Tell me or I'll start tickling you... Like this!" She grinned and pounced on him, beginning to tickle his sides and neck with her claws and tail. He began to laugh uncontrolably and wiggle on the bed.

"Stop it please! Have mercy! This isn't fair!" He cried out. She laughed devilishly, but gasped in surprise as he grabbed her wrists and flipped her on her back in one smooth motion. He sat on her as he caught his breath. She stared up at him with a smile that was anything but innocent.

It was at that time, of all times, that Piccolo burst through the door. Brenna and Gohan looked up in surprise, Gohan still perched on top of her and holding her wrists. His longtime mentor took in the scene before him, crossed his arms and grunted.

"Hello Piccolo, how have you been? I'd get up and greet you properly, but as you can see, I'm rather tied up at the moment..." Brenna chirped cheerfully from where she lay. Poor Gohan still had the 'deer in headlights' look on his face.

He finally found his voice and told his teacher the ever popular phrase, "It's not what you think!" He went on to explain mournfully, "She just started tickling me out of the blue! I had to do something to stop her."

Piccolo pointed at Gohan, "You. Off." He then pointed at Brenna who immediately sat up, "You. Come with me." He turned at her okay and walked out. Brenna stayed on the bed and watched him leave. As soon as she was sure he was out of sight, she pounced once more on Gohan and pinned him with a deep, very mature kiss.

"BRENNA!" Piccolo barked out. Brenna broke away and smiled sweetly at Gohan's stunned expression.

"See ya later.." She whispered. She tapped his nose once, then bounced out. Piccolo stood impatiently at the bottom of the steps. As soon as she reached him, he took her arm and muttered that they were going out to 'train' and dragged her away.

Ten minutes later in Gohan's room, he still lay on the bed where Brenna had given him his first kiss. He slowly blinked once then said, "...Wow..."
