Coming Clean
I'm a coward
I hide behind all of these delicate lies I sing, but I'm trying to come clean.
Dear Padmé,
If I had to be honest, every time I said that I loved you was a lie. In truth, you're my world, my light, my heart. I can't imagine a second without you, and I don't want to try. If I went to bed knowing you were thinking about me, I'd smile every morning. If I knew that saving one life would bring me closer to mine, I'd save the world over and over again. For every time I've told you I loved you, all I wanted to take you in my arms and never let go. For every time I said I love you, I wanted to pinch myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming, no matter how childish it sounded.
If I must be honest, I'm afraid of you. With four little worlds, you could take my world, my light and my heart and I would be powerless to stop it.
If I must be honest Angel, I'm afraid missing a moment of being with you.
To only my love, my sun, my angel,
My Padmé.
