Yo! I know I'm supposed to be focusing on my other fanfics, but a one-shot/drabble can't hurt, right?
MangaQuestshipping is one of my fav ships~ So, here's some fluff for all you other shippers.
On with the story!
Gold pouted. "Crys…" He drew out her name.
Crys mentally cringed. He looked adorable, like puppy. She took a shaky breath, "What?"
"Come outside. It's boring in here, and all you've been doing is paperwork," Gold replied. His Aipom heartily ate a banana. After a toss of the peel, it scampered away to play with its other fellow pokemon.
"Gold, I have a report due on Monday, and I have to finish it," Crys said calmly.
"Can't you take a short break?"
"No," Crys said absently, "plus, what if I liked doing work?"
Gold stared at her in disbelief. She liked doing paper work? After getting over his shock, Gold came to a resolve.
"I'm going to make you more fun," he stated.
"Oh really now?" Crys said blankly while scribbling down some notes. Gold nodded and started his stride towards the door.
"Follow m- ARGH!" Gold exclaimed. Crys looked up from her papers from the sudden outburst, only to start laughing at Gold's predicament.
Gold had slipped on the banana peel that Aipom left. 'What an idiot' Crys thought as she wiped a tear from her eye. Despite the embarrassment, Gold started laughing along with her.
As their laughing ceased, Gold stared into her eyes, smiling. Crys looked at his, only for a second, before turning away.
Gold cocked his head. "What?" he asked.
Crys huffed. "Don't stare at me like that…" she mumbled.
Gold blinked. His bewildered look was slowly replaced with a smirk.
"Like… what?" he said, drawing closer to Crys. She twisted her body, so she didn't face Gold. She felt a pair of hand cup her face and turn her head. Crys froze. Gold was only an inch away from her face.
"Like… this?" he whispered. Crys's face was burning. Gold, yet again, smirked.
SMACK!
The sound resonated through the room.
"Aw come on Crys, it was just a joooke," Gold whined, his hand on his throbbing cheek. Crys growled.
'What an idiot!' Crys mentally grumbled.
