Can you see me yet?
Can't you see me?
I'm standing here before you,
And I've been right here all this time.
Though…
It seems harder than one would think,
To notice…
Something like me,
When it's been
In front of you for so long.
Perhaps…
You never bothered to care.
Or notice.
Or see.
Or think.
About me, because I've been here so long.
I would have melted with the surroundings.
I see you're upset.
But I can't help you,
If you can't acknowledge me,
For the helpful words have no voice,
If the awaiting ears,
Are not open to hear them.
When is it? That you will
Know me?
Were you to know that I could help,
Would you try to find me?
Only for you to find out,
That I've been trying to save you all this time…
And by now…
It may be too late?
For I have become a part of the canvas,
No longer standing out.
You may not find me,
May not even care to.
But I think it important,
That you let me help,
For I may be able to,
Depending on you.
I've never wanted you to become lost,
But all I can do is wait,
And pray.
Wait for a time when you will see me, hear me, know me.
Pray for the day that you find me so that I may help save you.
I'm standing here,
I've been here quite a while,
And as I wait patiently enough,
I can't help but ask:
Can you see me yet?
A/N: Me again. This is a repost of a poem I had put up and then it was taken down for some reason unknown to me. I think this can go to a number of any of the characters, but I am very interested in seeing who you thought of!
Heehee, I've been gone for a while, and I apologize! I've been really sick and everything, I plan to update "Distance" soon, and that has a note about everything. I wanted to put this up so that I could aquaint myself the new system, and I also wanted this fic to where people can see it instead of rotting on my hardrive…
