One upon a time there was a beautiful region called the Dynasty region and it was a region located in the Far East where it was said to be a place where most famous fairy tales originated. The region was also known as The Region of the Rising Sun. Not only that, but in the Dynasty region, it was summer all year around with beautiful, forests, lakes, and ponds. It was also home to the Legendary Pokemon Xio Len where Legend has it, was said to punish the unworthy and when enraged, people say that the Pokémon's flames of rage were capable of burning an entire city. The region was also known for being very mysterious. It was a place of magic and mystery.
The forest itself however, was a popular place where Pokémon liked to relax. In fact, Pokemon not only would come to the forest to relax but Legenday Pokemon from all over the world liked to come to the forest as well. It was like a Pokemon sacutary because trainer's were not allowed to capture the Pokémon there and if they did, they would be forced to pay a fine. In the entrance of the forest, was a shrine where people would come to pray to the legendary Pokémon Xio Len so that the region would be eternally beautiful and it was because of this that the region seemed as though it had an endless supply of resources. The region even had major connections from all six regions including Alola. They even had there own system from outside the League called the Heroes League which was run by the Dynasty region's royal family.
In fact the Heroes League operates much differently than your average Pokémon Leagues. Like Alola, they have trials set up by the witches of the Dynasty region. However the trials are never the same because the witches themselves use their magic to change the trials depending of the trainer so that the trainer can grow as a person. It was the very reason why the witches have trials in the first place so that it could reveal a persons's true colors for the better or wrose. After completing the trial, then the trainer is granted permission to challenge the witch in charge and if you with the battle you receive a special gem that would be prof that you passed the trial. Not only that but each trial only gets harder and like the elites, the witches specialize a specific type.
Sadly, with all good things there must come bad and with that said, the region was notorious for being cruel to those who do not live within the Dynasty region. It was unfortunate they hated foreingers with a passion. Aside from that, Pokemon neglect seemed to be a major issue over there with most of the citizens being aristocrats and the trainer's themselves usually leave the taking care of the Pokémon to their servants. Although the Pokémon themselves would try desperately to gain their trainer's affections but would dismiss the Pokémon entirely and treated them more like a trophy that should be kept on a shelf whenever a trainer would enter a them for a Pokémon contest. As if the problem couldn't get any wrose, there was that rare occasion where trainers would abandon Pokémon and make the local shrine maidens take care of the Pokémon instead. Not everybody did this though, but the worst of them all was the royal family's daughter Princess Pearl.
It was said that Peal was known throughout the world as the Dynasty Region's Most Spoild Brat. As a result, everyone pretty much hated her mostly because of her attitude towards everyone. She whined whenever she didn't get her way and her outfit pretty much screamed spoiled. What she wore was an expensive looking Japanese kimono and a tiny silver tiara while her parents wore something that a bit similar to Pearl's outfit. She also had silver hair and blue eyes. Her mother had blue hair and green eyes while her father had jey black hair and hazel eyes.
Now the royal family lived in a traditional Japanese palace along with a traditional Japanese garden, but that was not the problem. The problem was that the princess was very spoiled along with her parents who were more spoiled than she was. Some would even go as far as blaming the parents because they both act childish and immature. It seemed as if there would be drama were ever the royal family went so it was understandable that the people of the Dynasty region are sick of this constant behavior even though that the citizens themself have no room to talk. Despite the region's endless beauty the region was still a pretty messed up place. Although it was rather unfortunate that no one really cares either way.
However, it wasn't the royal family's fault that they were so spoiled since no one bothered to correct their behavior if they ever did something wrong. They were the royal family so it was understandable that everyone else was too afraid to correct said behavior. It was because of this that the region never had any tourists but that never really hurt the Dynasty region's ecomy to begin with. Luckily, the royal family had their good points too. They were loyal and knew how to run a country. The king on the other hand was known to have anger issues but the only time when the king ever gets angry is when he sees someone slacking off so other than that, the guy was a pretty chill dude. As for the people there were actually some out there who were more behaved than other but despite everyone's' differences the citizens all agreed that they don't need tourists in their region nor that they ever will or that was what they thought.
One day, the royal family was hosting the annual Heroes League Festival in order to begin the tournament and to also find a champion for the Dynasty region. They even had an Elite Four which consisted of the royal family and the royal family's personal samurai of a bodyguard Akito. He was strict but gentle and he valued honor among everything else. He had a little bit of muscle, had dark skin and dark brown eyes. In fact, he was pretty popular among the Dynasty region. All in all he was one of the more descent guys in the region morality wise.
The witches were at the festival as well. The first witch was Amy, who is a descendant of Snow White but she was not your typical stereotype fairy tale princess. She was adventurous and loved to read manga. The only girly thing about her was that she was a sucker for anything pink since she spescalized in fairy types. Her outfit was pretty girly too since it looked as though it came straight out of a magical girl anime. She could pass for one too in fact.
Then there was Maggie a descendant of Maleficent. That's right, you don't have to be related to a hero or princess to be a witch! She may be related to the dark fairy but she really wasn't into the whole cursing people and killing people like her ancestor. It was because of this that people treated her normally and the only thing that was remotely scary about her was that she dressed like a vampire. Although she only did this because she specialized in dark types. She could care less about her looks.
Next was Sarah who is a descendant of Mulan, a steel type trainer and like Akito she saw dressed in full samurai armor. Then there was Elizabeth, daughter of Hanzel who was the normal type witch, but sadly there is not much to say about her since she usually likes to keep herself hidden from the crowd. After Elizabeth was Morgana the electric type whitch but people usually avoid her because her father was into the whole friends from the other side if you know what I mean. She had an outrageous Mardi Gra outfit that seemed make her stand out. There was also Aurora the grass type witch, descendent of Aurora as her name suggests. She is a tomboy, dresses like one and tends to be a bit aggressive. Next we have is Gwen the ghost type witch, who is the descendant of Crualla De Ville.
She wore a simple T-shirt and jeans but despit that, she is incredible shy. We also have Myra the water type witch who is the descendant of Aladdin and have the tendency to steal things making her a world class thief. The last of the bunch was Alice, a descendant of the Cheshire Cat. No one knows much about her making her very mysterious as a result. Plus she specialized in bug types. Aside from that the reason that all of these big name trainers were there was because that the festival was big event and today the royal family has finally decided to find a champion for the Dynasty region and everyone in the kingdom attended since it was a huge deal. In fact the whole region looked like a ghost town since everyone was at the event and since everyone was so busy with the festival, no one noticed that a stranger has washed up on shore.
It was plain to see that the was an elderly woman who clearly needed help since she was pretty much soaked to the bone. It was clear that she needed help but everyone was too busy to even notice her. It seemed that no one had a sense of common decency but one random guy did manage to but the woman a towel since she looked like she was freezing to death. Other than that one guy nobody helped her.
"Sorry that everyone seems so passive dude. The people here don't seem to care much for foreingers. You are pretty much here all by yourself from this point onward bro. Everyone is at the Hero League Festival but I decided not go since that it not really my thing. Ya feeling me bro?" She woman just smiled at the stranger as she carried on.
Eventually, she did managed to find the royal palace where the royal family was busy making preparations for the next event. Everyone who came to the festival was helping out as well and the only reason the everyone stopped was because of the woman. The one's who were considered decent human beings though began to become very uncomfortable because everyone else was giving the poor woman cold stares.
"Who are you?" The princess said coldly as she walked up to her.
"Please help me." The woman begged. Not only that but the elderly woman even offered the family a single rose as payment for a place to stay.
"Please, I am lost and I have no place to go."
"Like we would help you." Said Pearl."You are a foreigner and you have no right to be in our region. Good day." The princess then laughed and ridiculed her as a result. Enraged, the elderly woman revealed herself to the the legendary Pokémon Xio Len and out of fear both the parents rush over to protect their daughter while the princess bowed down to the legendary.
"P-please forgive us fir our rude behavior. We promise that we would do better." The princess pleaded.
"It is too late for that now. You already had your chance to redeem yourself but I can see that your hearts are a black as night and as cold as ice. You only want to help me now because I am a legendary Pokémon. For that, I will curse the Dynasty region into an eternal winter and everyone who knows about the Dynasty region will forget as though it has never exsisted."
"P-please stop. I promise that for you we will change our ways." The king begged only to be ignored and with that said the legendary Pokémon cursed the land causing the region to go into an eternal winter turning the royal family as well as the citizens into monsters and the region was never seen or heard from again.
"There, now you are as ugly on the outside as you are in the inside." Said the Pokémon who was satisfied with its' work. As this was happening, It seemed as though that there was no hope for the people of the region.
"You think that we are scared of a little curse?" Challenged the king while Akito shook his head since he was being stupid.
"Watch whay you say your majesty. This is our region's legendary Pokémon that we are talking to." The solder said with a stern attitude.
"Your friend is right fool. Within time the region will experience some side effects from the curse that I have placed upon the land." Just like that the Pokemon left and true to the legendary's word, it seemed that over times the region went into poverty. As this all happened, Xio Len gave the royal family the rose that they had refused before. Weeks went by and it seemed that there is no hope. However, there is one way to break the spell and it was this: if the royal family as well as the citizens of the Dynasty region could learn to love and receive love from a foreigner in return before the last petal falls than the spell would be broken. It was until then that everyone in the region wondered was who in the right mind would love a region filled with monsters?
Many years later...
Our hero Ash Ketchum has just gotten back Kalos after winning second in the league which he was fine with since that meant that he was one step closer to his dream. Pikachu on the other hand, did not take the loss as well as its' trainer did. The rat was angry with Ash and this concerned the trainer as he hoped that he didn't do anything to upset the mouse. In fact, the trainer couldn't be happy if his Pokémon weren't happy and it troubled the ten year old since he couldn't figure out what was wrong.
"Come on Pikachu, don't be mad. I sure that whatever it is that your upset about, we can work it out so can you please tell me what is wrong so that I can help you?" The Pokemon only ignored Ash since the mouse was not only angry with Ash that he lost the Kalos League against his rival but losing the other leagues as well. In fact the rat finally snapped during Shinnoh and begame making Ash loose on purpose as a result.
"Pi." Said Pikachu turning its' giving Ash who was a bit frustrated a hard time.
"I am not sure what your problem is but I will figure it out sooner or later." Ash smiled thinking that the situation he was in would work itself out. Ash then decided to forget about it for now until he saw the most amazing Pokémon that he has ever seen. The trainer never saw this Pokémon before and when he tried to scan it, the Pokédex didn't have any information on it. The Pokémon itself looked a bit like a giraff with a beard, had blue and pink fur, one antler in the middle of its's head while at the same time had what looked like a turtle shell on its's back. It was pretty tall too but with Ash being Ash, he was hoping that he could make friends with it hoping that playing could get the grouchies out of Pikachu. That was when he also remembered his secret stash of Pokémon food which he usually saved for this type of situation.
"Hi my name is Ash and this is my partner Pikachu." Pikachu who was still mad at Ash turned its' head refusing to even look at the trainer so in response to the behavior Ash laughed nervously and said,"Sorry about that, usually Pikachu is very friendly towards everybody. Although I think that Pikachu is just having a bad day. Do you still want to play?" The Pokémon then sniffed the plastic bag full of Pokémon food who in turn accepted as Ash who handed the Pokémon a handful Pokémon food.
"Tag! Your it!" Said Ash who booped the Pokémon's nose and that was how a game of tag began for the duo while Pikachu just perched itself on atree branch ignoring the two. After the game Ash said goodby to the Pokémon while Pikachu hopped back onto Ash's shoulder and little did he know was that he was playing with the Legendary Pokémon Xio Len from the Dynasty region. Although said Pokémon was concerned for the trainer and decided to follow him home since the Pokémon sensed some hostility towards the Pikachu the had. Little did they both know was that Ash was in for a nasty surprise.
"Pikachu, want to race?" Ash asked who was a bit relieved when Pikachu agreed.
"Pika!"Said the Pokemon as he once again hopped off of the trainer's shoulder who surprised Ash when the mouse had a head start by using the move Quick Attack. However once the duo was home Ash said,"Hey, that's cheating!" Only to have Pikachu beat him to the door as has went inside. Once inside though, Ash couldn't help but become nervous when he saw that all of his traveling companion, his rivals, Professor Oak and even Mr. Goodshow were at his house all giving the young boy angry glares.
"Hey, what's up?" Said Ash who chuckled nervously unsure of what is about to happen.
"Um sweety, I am not sure how I am going be as your mother I think that it is very important that you hear this." Said Ash's mother who was unsure of what to say next.
"Just spit it out already Deliah! What your mother is trying to say is that is that she thinks that you are a terrible trainer and should quit your dream!" Yelled Misty shocking Ash in the process.
"Mom is that true?" Ash asked hoping that it wasn't.
"I hate to say this but, it is true and if I have to be honest I am tired of being the laughing stock of Pallet Town. It's humiliating and all of the other mothers tell me that they don't want to be around someone who is the mother of a loser. I really think that you should work on something that you are actually good at. You should be more like Gary who stopped and decided be a Pokémon researcher."
"Do you all think that I should quit my dream?" Ash said trying not to cry.
"Yes!" Everyone said all at once breaking Ash's heart in two during the process.
"I can't beleive that this is happening. Pikachu?" Ash asked only to be surprised when the mouse hopped off of Ash's shoulder and went onto Max's shoulder instead.
"Traitor!" Ash yelled angrily at the rat.
"See even your Pokémon agrees. They are tired of loosing." Taunted May and as if things couldn't get any wrose Professor Oak showed Ash all of his Pokémon that he had caught during his previous travels were equally angry.
"All of those legendary Pokémon I could have studied but no, you had to let them go free!"
"I am sorry Ash but since you always loose and because of those circumstances, the law says that I am going to have to revoke your trainers' liscense."
"Sereana? Do you agree with them? Did that kiss mean anything to you?" Ash said as tears threatened to fall.
"Well, that was before I realized that you were a weakling who can't do anything right. That is why I am dating Paul now." Said Serena breaking Ash's heart in two.
"Ash, while we are talking about this, I wanted to let you know that I had a bit of a crush on you too but you never noticed." Said Dawn truthfully causing Ash to be more upset than he already was.
"Not only that but you keep putting me and my sister in danger. I wouldn't have traveled with you if I had known that all of the evil teams tend to go after you. I beleive that you are a magnet for trouble." Said Clemont while Bonnie nodded her head in agreement.
"I am disgusted that I even looked up to someone who is as weak as you. Paul and Trip told me how you lost all of those other leagues and they even said that they could give me some piinters on how to be a better trainer." Said Max who looked like he was about to explode.
"Seriously Ash, you can be such a kid sometimes. When will you ever learn to grow up? I can't stand that childish behavior of yours!" Screamed Iris.
"I used to think that your battling style was full of flavor but over time your technique has become bland and tasteless."
"Yeah and you are also the reason I can't get a date with any of the Nurse Joys or Officer Jennys."
"You think that I should quit my my dream because I am weak? I don't care what you all think and even though I am not a trainer anymore I will still find a way to become a Pokémon Master."
"Young man, I have just about enough of this behavior which is why I am disowning you just like how I divorced your father. He was a weakling too. I have the documents saying that you are no longer my child right here." That was when the Legendary Pokemon finally snapped.
"Fools, you do not deserve to be friends with the Chosen One and you Delilah do not deserve to call yourself his mother! In fact you were never his mother to begin with! I was going to send you all off with a very speacial mission but I followed the Chosen One home due to concern since I sensed some bad aura coming from that yellow rat over there. However I did not expect to come to his home only to find this happening! You do not deserve to be the Chosen One's friends, family and Pokémon so you can forget about the power up I was about to bestow upon you! If I had it my way I would have destroyed you all on the spot but alas that goes against the Chosen One's morals."
"You can't do this to us! I am his mother!" Yelled an very angry Deliah.
"Hmm, last time I checked you said that you disowned him because he is weak."
"I don't care! I can still do whatever I want with him!"
"And for that I will make sure that I will not allow you to touch a single hair on the Chosen One. In fact I will be taking him to my region wich has been in an eternal winter for over fifty years. The people there used to be like you but they have finally softened up to a point where they have earned my help. Good day and mark my words when I say that when the Chosen One returns, he shall have his revenge."
"Ha good luck with that! A weakling is still a weakling! Axue use Dragon Fang!" Said Iris only to have the legendary use protect against the attack.
"Thank you." Said Ash and with that said Ash both the Legendary Pokemon dissapered while the traitors just looked at each other wondering if they should be concerned.
