Izzy-chan: Hey folks! This is my first OneShot so be nice! TT_TT
Disclaimer: I, Issy111 do not own Naruto. If I did, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction, now would I?
"Sasuke." Sakura said, her sundress blowing in the ocean breeze.
"I'm here, just as you requested. What is it you wish to tell me?" Sasuke asked from behind the girl. She wasn't looking at him. She was gazing across the sea below the cliff before her.
"I...like you." Sakura stated, still not looking at the Uchiha.
"W-what?" He uttered, confused.
"I like you, Sasuke Uchiha! I have ever since we met three years ago! I like, no, LOVE you. I never feel normal when I'm around you. My heart pounds and my hands get shaky." Sakura repeated, louder this time. There was silence. A hand grabbed Sakura's, turning her around. She felt lips melt into hers. Sakura pushed back at Sasuke, showing what she felt. They broke apart, their breath racing.
"Sakura, I love you too. I feel the same way. I've loved you since the day we met. The feelings are mutual." Sasuke smirked. Sakura rushed into his arms, hugging him tightly. She could've stayed like that forever.
Crack!
Sakura and Sasuke were ripped out of their perfect world. Sakura looked down, seeing a huge crack that seemed to grow by the second. Before they knew it, Sakura was falling. She screamed, feeling the ground beneath her crumble. Sasuke grabbed her wrist. Sakura dangled limply from the sheer cliff, crying.
"Sakura. I've got you." Sasuke grunted, trying to pull her up. The girl he held sobbed.
"It's no use. I'm not going to make it." She cried, her voice void of any hope. Tears fell from Sasuke Uchiha's cheeks, down his arm. The tears reached his hand and slipped inbetween his hand and her wrist. Sakura started to slip.
"Sakura. We're going to get through this together." Sasuke choked. Sakura shook her head.
"No, we're not." Were the last words before Sasuke lost her.
"Sakura!" He screamed from his place on the ledge. Sasuke jumped up and ran away from the cliff. Then, he turned around on a dime and ran back. He leapt off the cliff and dived down, trying to catch up with the pink-haired girl.
"Sasuke?" Sakura felt arms around her waist. They were still falling, wind rushing around their bodies.
"I told you we'd get through this together, didn't I?" Sasuke murmured, holding onto Sakura tightly. Sakura lifted her head and rested her lips on Sasuke's one last time.
Izzy: Not very long, I know... but still, I think it was pretty good for a first time! Try not to flame me. But if you feel the need to, do what you must. =D Thanks for reading! Izzy-chan, Out.
