The grass beneath me slowly started disappearing, giving me the illusion that I was flying. Everything around me started to become a blur. Even the familiar face of Gale was far from recognizable. Must be the Trackerjacker venom.

I can't believe I lasted this long, made it this far. I thought for sure I was going to be the first tribute to die, and with the pain from falling so many times, I almost wish I was. But there was no way I was going to lose my sister. She needed me, and I needed her. My palms started sweating at the thought.

I continued running as far and as fast as I could. I needed a weapon. I needed water. I needed to be home. However seeing as I had little to no sponsors, none of these things were going to happen. I had to reach the only place I knew, even if it did mean death. I had to.

Finally, I reached it. The cornucopia. I sighed with relief but continued running until my chest burned with so much pain I had to stop. The moment I stopped I saw a shadow of someone running. Please say it was Foxface. She would never hurt me. She couldn't hurt me. Please… please be Foxface.

I felt a grip on my shoulder. Not knowing what to expect, I swung my body around. I felt a cold blade go down my spine and I finally realized who it was. The blonde hair hung in front of my eyes and watched the light begin to drain. Then…. The unmistakable cry of Gale rang through the woods. Cato's shadow disappeared back in the distance, only this time with a taller figure behind him.

Katniss was staring into my eyes and screaming. All I could hear was my name, "Prim! Prim! PRIM!" I can't stand it. I was still here, wasn't I? My eyes were just closed. I was sleeping. But even I knew that was false. I was slowly slipping away, and there was no hope in saving me. I was dying.

"PRIM!" My sister was mortified, I could hear it in her voice.

"PRIM! WAKE UP!" She was getting even more eager now. I tried telling her that there was no hope, what Cato had done. Then, the realization suddenly struck me as a bucket of freezing water struck my face.
