E- Ever // Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's AU x Yu-Gi-Oh! GX AU// Crow (Audubon) x Fuubuki (Ruby)
Yeah, this one's a bit confusing if you've never roleplayed or stalked the two LiveJournal communities known as ygo_dressing and yugioh_dr. Basically, because there were multiple people playing the same characters in ygo_dressing , the characters had different nicknames. The Crows were named after holidays, the Fuubukis after gemstones. ygo_dressing is a large building located in another dimension, the premise being that characters are "drawn in" from different timelines and dimensions. yugioh_dr is based on a similar premise, the main difference being that yugioh_dr is a large island in the middle of nowhere, mysteriously consisting of portions of similar places, such as part of Satellite from 5D's, the hot springs and dormitories from GX, and Pegasus' castle and forest from DM. I wasn't entirely sure if I should even have posted this request here, but I decided to in the end.

E is for Ever
Forever was a long time.
That was how long Audubon had thought he wouldn't see Ruby again. Even with the eccentricities of the Dressing Room and the strange-Satellite-that-wasn't-Satellite,
he felt as distant from the other as one could feel.
Yes, Ruby had been brought to him twice. The first time so badly weakened that he was in a wheelchair from a bad heart, induced on him for using the Cyberdarks. Perhaps aiding him so closely, the same as he would have done for his many kids, was what drew him...but nah, that couldn't be. He took care of more than his fair share of people, whether it be at home, the Dressing Room, or this false Satellite.
The second time he came he was fully healed-but distant, and already taken. As soon as he came, he wanted to leave, to go back to who he was with-some guy named Ryo-and even though it hurt, Audubon wasn't going to hold him here when it hurt him to stay. So he did his best to help him find his way back.
Now, he had been fully prepared to not see him again. Two weeks passed in the false Satellite dimension, two weeks that passed in a blur, what with a new arrival coming in near daily.
Then, on a trip to the store, he found himself face to face with Ruby-older, marked, and single.
He had gone for toilet paper, soup, and coffee.
He came out with that plus a boyfriend.
Forever was a long time.
But, it didn't seem that way when you had someone with you to wait along.
