The rain poured down, the thunder roared, and she said nothing, simply buried her face in his chest. He stroked her hair, and put his arms around her, shielding her from the storm outside. She shivered underneath his touch, and he gathered her closer to him, pulling her onto his lap. The couch they were laying on creaked slightly as she leaned into his chest, wrapping her arms around his waist. Lightning flashed and she buried her face even deeper into him.
Haru knew why storms like this brought out this weak side of Rin. It reminded her of years of neglect, of hiding from storms such as these while her parents argued, hateful words being spat back and forth while their daughter went unnoticed. Neglect and abuse was all she had ever known, until Haru promised to never let go. She had doubted and tested him many times, running away from his vows, fleeing his love. But no more. Rin was his now, and no one would take her away again.
Leaning forward, Haru trailed little kisses down Rin's neck, down her collarbone and back up to her to her jaw. She moaned a little and only held him tighter as he tugged gently on her earlobe, then moved back to his tender kisses. Unspoken vows passed between them, for nothing needed to be said. It was all there already.
I'll never leave you.

WOW... I didn't know I was even capable of writing something like this... O.o And NO, they are not doing that, so don't even ask :) So... yeah... Haru and Rin are my favorite fb couple (besides Kyo and Tohru... this is still undecided :)) and I was inspired by the sound of the rain outside. Oh, and case this was unclear, that last italic was both of them together.
