Knuckles' Secret
One day, in the land of Mobius, the evil stole the chaos emeralds! And only Sonic and Amy can save the day! Amy said "Do you know where he put them?" and Sonic replied with "Don't worry. I know the way!" but out of nowhere, Knuckles appeared out of nowhere, but this time, he looked a bit different. He promptly said "You do not know the way", with a seemingly African accent. Amy replied with "Knuckles?" "We must protect the queen" Knuckles responded with. "What's wrong with Knuckles?-" And at that very moment, Knuckles picked up Amy and said "The queen knows the way". Amy reacted with "Knuckles! Put me Down! Sonic, what's wrong with him?" Sonic said " He has a rare disease that only affects his species. I think it's called… Uganded Knuckles. It's like the plague or the black death but worse!".
That night, they found an abandoned farm and decided to spend the night there.
In the morning, Sonic found a shotgun and a few shells, and tied Knuckles to a fence post. Sonic said to Amy: "He definitely has it Amy, we're gonna have to put him down, just like ol' yeller." "Sonic! No! There has to be another way!" replied Amy. "Sorry Amy, but we have no choice! Somewhere in there the real knuckles is suffering and on the outside, he'll never be the same Knuckles we know and love again! We have to put him out of his misery. Plus, if we don't, he'll start multiplying and we'll be in danger! And everything will just get worse. We have to say goodbye." Knuckles starts making clicking sounds with his mouth. Amy starts sobbing and says "I love you so much..." "All hail the queen." answered Knuckles. "...I'll miss you. You'll be in a better place now, boy." "I'm sorry buddy, this is for you own good. It'll all be over soon." added Sonic. "You cannot escape the devil" announced Knuckles. Sonic finally pulled the trigger.
And the gun went off.
