The Lost Xtransceiver
Chapter 1
NORMAL POV
Rosa had just gotten out of the Pokestar studios after filming Brycen-man. The director said that she and Riolu worked perfectly together. Rosa sighed remembering the day when she first became an actress, she tripped on one of the stage props and totally embarrassed herself but now after some more films were created, she was beginning to get the hang of acting. I only need to beat Clay, the Elite 4 and then the Champion she thought and the thought of that got her fired up for what was yet to come.
NIMBASA CITY 4:00 PM
Rosa walked into the still busy Amusement Park area. She sat on a bench near the Ferris wheel and swung her legs back and forth for a while staring into the distance. Suddenly she spotted something in the distance and she walked over and picked it up. It was an orange Xtransceiver. I wonder who could of lost this she wondered aloud. The xtransceiver started playing an audio tone. Hello? Oh! Yes. That's right! I dropped my Xtransceiver. I'm talking on an old Xtransceiver right now, so there's no video. Sorry.
Thank you for finding it. Truth is, I want to come pick it up right away, but… Right now, I'm very busy with work, and I don't have time to pick it up. If you don't mind, could you hang on to it for a little bit? My name's Chr… Ah, I mean… Curtis! Who are you? Rosa introduced herself to the strange person. From his voice, Rosa could tell he was about a guy her age. Rosa, huh? OK. When work calms down, I'll come pick it up, so please hang on to it! Also… I'm sure you'll want to keep in touch until I can pick up my Xtransceiver. So, I'll call your Xtransceiver regularly. Bye, then. Thanks again. The audio stopped and Rosa stared at the Orange device in wonder.
VARIOUS DAYS AT VARIOUS TIMES
Rosa started receiving calls from Curtis once in a while whilst she travelled around. The first time, he talked about how it was annoying that they couldn't see each other's faces and most of the times, the call was short due to his work. Rosa didn't mind, in fact she was happy about these little calls that he made. When he called once, he asked for his Xtransceiver back. "Ahaha, do you think you can meet me at the Ferris wheel in Nimbasa City?" He asked Rosa. She nodded and dashed off to Nimbasa.
NIMBASA CITY 5:00 PM
Rosa walked into the Amusement Park and trotted over to the Ferris wheel. She saw a boy about her age stand at the entrance. He had blonde hair and was wearing a black shirt and a green vest. He also had a black and green hat atop his head. "Excuse me but are you Curtis?" Rosa asked. The boy turned to look at her. "And I believe you are Rosa?" He replied. "Yep~!" She said happily. "Here's your Xtransciever back" and Rosa handed Curtis the device back. "Thanks so much!" He said. "I'll be sure to keep in touch from now on!" Rosa smiled at the boy and waved to Curtis as she walked to the Park entrance.
CURTIS' POV
"Whew..." I sighed leaning back against the railing. "I'm glad she didn't find out at that first call otherwise I could've been in some trouble..."
"What kind of 'trouble'~?" A voice asked slyly. "Gaah! Nan- I mean Yancy! Don't scare me like that!" I say
"Sorry, sorry but I just happened to hear you talking to yourself~. Is this about a girl~~?" She asks. That Yancy, nothing slips by her.
"Haaah...yea I guess it sort of is" I mumble quietly. "What was that? I caaaan't heeeear youuu~!"
"Ugh, yes it is about a girl!" I say more loudly. "Oho, now I see! Don't worry, your secret is safe with me~!"
I look at the pink haired girl in wonder. Has she already figured it out?! Yancy waves goodbye to me and I resume leaning against the railing. "I wonder when I'll see Rosa next..." I wonder out loud.
