"What's wrong, Em?" He asked her as he slipped a white v-neck t-shirt over his head.
"Nothing." She snapped with her arms crossed over her chest as she sat on the light colored leather couch.
"Babe, remember how we're in love?" He said sarcastically while looking in the mirror.
"Yes. What the hell does that have todo with anything?" She fired at him.
"It means I know when you're really okay and when you're lying. Right now, you're lying. So what's really wrong with you?" He asked as he made his way towards the coffee table and sat on the table right in front of her while leaning forward and resting his hands on her legs.
"Nothing, Joe. I said nothing!" She said curtly while crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ugh, tell me babe," He pushed, "I hate when you're mad at me. Now tell me what I did this time."
"I'm not mad at you, Joe."She replied a little softer than before.
"Then what's wrong?" He said once again still not giving up.
"Nothing." She answered while glaring towards the poster on the wall. The poster displayed the original cast members of the television show that they were currently on the set of. But she wasn't glaring towards everyone on that image just one particular person, a girl to be exact.
Her boyfriend turned around to see what she was giving the evil eye to and when he did he knew exactly what was upsetting his blonde haired girlfriend, and that reason made him start to howl in laughter.
"What are you laughing at!" She raised her voice again.
"You're jealous of her?" He said as he continued to laugh, "You're jealous of the fact that I have to kiss Megan Foax on this show."
"Am not!" She denied quickly.
"Are too!" He argued playfully before his laughter started to die down, "Em, you have nothing to worry about. It's just acting, nothing more. It'll mean nothing." He finished before he started laughing again.
"Joe, stop laughing!" She said while she leaned up and swatted at his arm.
"Em, I can't help it." He said as he tried to hide the fact he was laughing. "We've been through this so many times before. Both of us have had to kiss other people, and everytime the other gets jealous. It never gets old."
"Whatever, Joe." She said while looking away.
"Aw, Em I was joking." He said as he made the movement to sit on the couch while he wrapped his muscular arms around her.
"But Joe," She said softly before looking away, "This has happened before, but never with a girl like this. I mean Megan's a freaking supermodel. She's beautiful and she's talented and she's so successful. How can I compete with that?" She questioned him as she turned back towards him with tears in her eyes.
"Em, don't cry." He comforted her, "And what do you mean by 'compete' you don't have to compete with anyone. You're my Emily. You're the love of my life. The girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. And no one could even compete with you it's not the other way around."
"You sure?" She sniffle while wiping her eyes.
"I'm positive, baby." He smiled while wiping the tears on her cheeks.
"Good." She smiled as he leaned into kiss her. When their lips touched that was plenty of reassurance that he would never ever want any girl, but her, and that nothing could ever make her happier.
Then two knocks came on the door and they hear a voice from behind, "Joe, make-up. They're gonna be ready to shoot your scenes soon." Was all that was said.
"Alright, gotta go sweetie. I'll be back soon."He said as he kissed her forehead before heading towards the door.
A little over 3 hours and many takes later the shooting was over and Joe was back in the dressing room with Emily. As he leant over to hug her, he nuzzled his face in her neck and softly whispered in her ear, "You're a much better kisser than she is."
