Drifting in a sea of blood was not a normal dream Jandor has seen. Normally the dreams are about sex or being in your underwear in front of thousands of people.

All of a sudden the dream changed. He was now in a large fire pit tied to a metal pole. The fire was raging out of control. It went up his legs and his stomach. People watched in awe, while others screamed in horror.

The pole started getting very hot and burned Jandor's bare back. He looked up at the pole that he was tied to and saw that it was a bright blue. Last time he looked at it it was a normal silvery pole. He thought that maybe it was a magical pole but then again, why would they tie him to a magical pole?

He concentrated on trying to get free or for it to start raining, so the fire would go out and the pole would cool down.

He tried with no luck, but just as he was about to give up all hope it started raining. Everyone ran to cover, while he stayed strapped to the pole.

All of a sudden he was jolted awake by the night nurse taking his blood pressure.

"You would think I would be used to this by now, I have been stuck in this stupid hospital room losing my hair and rotting away for over 2 months now." Jandor said irritably.

"No, no. First off your not rotting away, and second off I have seen one person who was here for a little over a year and still got woken up." The nurse told him.

"A YEAR! I DONT WANT TO BE STUCK HERE FOR A YEAR!" Jandor screamed.

"Shh. Jandor it's okay, don't scream or you will wake the other children. And you shouldn't be here for a year. The girl had a defective heart and had to be here until they found a transplant."

"Oh. Well still I don't want to be here for a year. No offense to any of the staff or anyone, I would just rather be in my own bed."

"I know what you mean. If I was in your situation I would too. It's much easier sleeping in your own bed."

"Yes. Very."

"You need to get some sleep now, and I need to finish my rounds. If you are up before I leave I will be sure to come talk to you and maybe take you for a walk. How does that sound?"

"AMAZING! THANKS!"

"No problem."
