Ash and his friends were playing by a pond enjoying the sunshine. When all of a sudden Ash clutched his hat muttered 'I gotta go somewhere' and ran off into the woods.

The others (Cilan, Brock, Misty, Iris, May, Max, and Dawn) considered following him but then decided against it. And then Ash's friend, who had come and joined them sometimes on they're journey, Red came out of the woods. And sat down to talk to them.

The next day,

"Guys I just realized something strange." everybody turned to Iris wondering what it was. Iris looked around quickly to make sure neither Red or Ash was there.

"Well have you guys noticed that when Red is around Ash isn't? And vice versa? Don't you think that's a little strange?"

"You do have a point Iris. I mean, they say that they are friends, and yet, we never see them together at the same time." Misty said.

Just then Ash walked in."Hey guys what are you talking about?"

"Oh nothing." Iris said but then noticed something strange. "Hey, isn't that Red's hat?"

Ash looked at his head. 'Shoot. Forgot.' he murmured and then took off like a bullet.

"Well that was weird." Dawn said.

Just then Red came in, coming from the same direction that Ash went.(A.N wink wink) "Hey guys what's up?"

"Oh, nothing, and, hey, isn't that Ash's hat?"

Red looked at his head and mumbled "Shoot." and ran in the same direction Ash ran.

A few minutes later Ash came out, wearing his own hat.

He walked over to Misty and sat down.

"Hey Ash?"

"Yeah Iris?"

"I was just wondering why you were wearing Red's hat a few minutes ago. And why he was wearing yours?"

Ash suddenly looked very nervous. "Um, well I don't know, I think we just got our hats mixed up. Er, why do you ask?"

"Oh, no reason just wondering."

"Oh. Okay."

The room fell into silence.

And then suddenly Dialga appeared.

"Dialga? What are you doing here?"

Ash. Red. I think it's time your friends knew your past.

"What! No! You can't do that!"

Oh, but I can. I can let them know your past by showing them your memories. Oh, and just because some of the thoughts you think are hilariously funny, you kids are going to hear ash ,with his aura controlling twin brother whom he shares a body with and can change into so that he can use his body, oh right Ash can control the aura to nearly forgot about that, thoughts. Anyways for those who didn't know, his twins name is Red.

And then Dialga disappeared leaving the rest of Ash's friends gaping at him until Iris jumped into the air and shouted "I KNEW IT!" before a portal came and swallowed them.
