1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1 "always be prepared"

Sapphire's POV:

Beep beep. The usual sound that wakes me up each morning. I slapped my alarm and fell out of bed ready to start a new day of training and school work. " Katniss dear! Your having a bad dream! Wake up!" Shouted my father loudly in the kitchen. My parents competed in the hunger games twice. They are known as the star crossed lovers by everyone in Panem. To me, their my normal mum and dad. Ever since I turned 12, I have trained hard to prepare myself for the worst. For example, peace keepers just randomly drag me out from whatever I was doing and try to kill me. Ever since my mum blew up the arena in the hunger games, the horrible games have fortunately never happened since then. There is still random riots and wars but they don't really bother me. It's just normal to me. After I ate breakfast I went down the corridor outside our apartment down the school. I live in district 13 so everything is underground. Just before I entered my classroom someone snatched me.
