Merry, Marry, Mary

Gray was running as fast as he can. It was Christmas Eve and he was late for his dinner date with Mary. She won't be angry because he was late for two minutes, he knew that, but still, he was late. Also, this wasn't just a normal Christmas dinner date for Gray. He had to make sure his heart was ready for this, for tonight.
"M-Mary! Sorry I'm late!" he said, rushing to a chair in front of the girl.
She chuckled. "It's okay. Want to order something to drink first?"
He nodded. Mary ordered a glass of water for him, and a waiter came with it a few seconds later. Gray drank the water, and, he actually wanted to do that after they ate their dinner, but his grandpa insisted that he had to do it as soon as he arrived there or he would changed his minds. It's now or never, he thought, I do it myself or gramp will do it for me while making fun of me.
"Mary!" he said, "M-Merry Christmas Eve!"
She blinked once and smiled. "Oh, right, I haven't said that too! Merry Christmas Eve, Gray!"
Gray gulped. "Mm—I—uh, Mary, m—merry Christmas ..."
"Yeah, Gray, Merry Christmas to you too."
His ears felt so hot now. Actually, his face was so warm. But he had to do this. "Mary," he gulped, and then showed her a beautiful blue feather, "M-merry Christmas, Mary, w-will you marry me and always be my Mary?"
She blinked. Once, twice, thrice. If she said no, Gray was more than ready to die of embarrasment. But then she smiled sweetly. "Was that a pun?"
He nodded quietly.
"I don't know how to make a pun, but, Gray, for your question, my answer is yes," she said.
"R-really?"
She nodded.
And that was probably one of the happiest moment of his life.

A/N: My English is bad, I know, but this story has to be written in English, for the merry-marry-mary thing. Once again, I'm sorry for the grammars, prepositions, etc, etc, etc.
