Sorry guys, but my computer isn't letting me upload any of my 'Life of a Dragon' works. But to be fair to you guys, I'm putting up the first chapters of my new stories, to give you something to look forward to
.
So, this is the third story I've written recently, I've been going through a bit of writer's block for book 5 in 'Life of a Dragon'. So I remembered, that if you write something else, it will open up your mind to new possibilities, so I wrote this
.

A shadowy figure emerges from a pod, reading a message in front of him. He picks up two circular medal like objects, putting them in his pockets. He places a strange amulet around his neck, the symbol in the middle of a dark pink and blue Deltadromeus. He walks through a line of pods, stopping at one, his body preventing the name from being seen, he places his hand on the pod, a sleeping person inside
.
"I'll be back soon. They gave me a mission, and I will complete it. I love you, and I can't wait for you to wake up so we can get married"
.
He walks through a hallway, the entire place as quiet as a graveyard, before he walks into a corridor, the circular door closing behind him, the air being sucked out, making a loud sound. The small pod takes off towards the planet, leaving behind the remaining people on the ship
.
An unknown period of time later
.
In the center of a field, a human lies face down, his black clothes covered in dirt, his pale skin even paler as he sits up, running his hand through his short and spiked black hair
"Ugh...Where am I...Wait...WHO AM I?"
"Did you hear that?"
.
The black haired boy, before he knows it, is hiding behind a tree, wondering how he got there so fast, as two people pass by him, one an old man with white hair, the other is a dark skinned man in a lab coat, with bluish green hair
.
"Where did that sound come from Doctor?" the old man asks
"It was around here somewhere"
.
They look around for a while longer, before the Doctor looks over in his direction
.
"Hey, you behind the tree, come out"
.
The black haired boy walks out from behind the tree cautiously, his right hand holding onto the three medals in his pocket for comfort
.
"My boy, you can't be older than 17, what are you doing here?"
"More importantly, how did you get here? This place isn't set to open for another month"
.
He takes his hand out of his pockets, holding the medals tight to his chest, as he begins hyperventilating
.
"T-those are Dino Medals...Give them here, NOW"
.
As the Doctor charges him, the 17 year old steps back, fear in his eyes
.
"GET AWAY"
.
He throws the Medals, not sure why, yet sure it would protect him. A large burst of light engulfs the area. When the light dissipates, three large creatures stand in front of the black haired youth
.
The first two, identical in shape and coloring, 33 feet tall and bipedal, with reddish pink skin, a long dark green neck, and three green claws on each hand, three green talons on each foot. Their dark grey eyes glaring menacingly, as the black stripes on their bodies making them even more intimidating, as the two let out a low growl.

The third creature, standing in the middle, is perhaps the strangest, standing only 15 feet tall with dark red metallic skin.
A trail of yellow spikes down its long tail, three pairs of silver spikes on both sides of its body.
It has a long neck, silver jaw, dark gold eyes glowing dangerously, its dark purple lashes ending in three tips on each eye, a yellow fin on top of its head.
Its top and bottom jaw interconnecting, two large fangs sticking up on both sides of the bottom of its face.
Two silver claws on each hand, and three silver talons on its two feet. Green crystals on various parts of its body

"Two Zino's and whatever that third one is, and they seem to be a team" The doctor mutters
.
The metallic Vivosaur roars, the Doctor and the old man retreating to the edge of the clearing. The black haired youth walks forward, stopping in front of the Vivosaur, feeling a wave of nostalgia, he places his hand on the creature, as a single thought enters his brain
.
"...Hunter, that's what my name is" he says softly
.
More memories enter his mind, fighting with these Vivosaurs, though feeling like they should be a bit different
.
He looks at them and smiles, his confidence returning as pieces of his mind seem to click back in place
"Sorry about that, I'm not exactly myself right now, my heads all fuzzy and I can't remember very much"
"Would you please explain yourself young man?" The old man asks calmly
"As best I can at least. My name is Hunter, and these are my Vivosaurs. That's all I can remember"

.
1 month later
.
"Really gonna have to thank the Doc and Mr. Richmond" Hunter says, tossing and catching his medals
.
After his incident, Doctor Diggins and Mr. Richmond took him in, giving him a room to stay in as they tried to help him recover his memories. Hunter catches the medal and looks down at the two Zino and the third, his partner, the one he felt closest to
.
"They still don't know what any of you are. Why is that?"
.
Flashback
.
Hunter stands in a lab, his three Vivosaurs out, standing protectively around him
.
"Alright, were going to take some blood to check out your three Vivosaurs" Dr Diggins says tapping the tip of a needle
.
He goes to the Zino, placing the needle against the skin before pressing in, before stopping when hitting a metal like material
.
"It can't pierce the skin? This needle is made for the strongest of Vivosaurs"
.
He goes to the second Zino, having the same result, before trying on the third
.
"Any clue what your friend here is Hunter?"
"...Chompsaurus" he replies, staring at the two Zino
"Hmm?" The Doc looks at Hunter, who looks back surprised
"Chompsaurus, where'd that come from?" Hunter asks
"It seems your memory is still there, in bits and pieces at least"
.
Dr. Diggins tries to pierce the skin of Chompsaurus and succeeds, pulling out a vial of deep reddish black blood
.
"This is certainly something new" he says to himself, holding the vial up to the light
.
He looks at his partner and two Zino, sad that they forbid him from using them in anything except life and death fights
.
He reaches into his pockets and pulls out a blue medal, a Deltadromeus. With Hunter forbidden from battling with his own three Vivosaurs, they gave him free reign of the fossil park,
telling him to look through the fossilary and find one he wanted, and that they would make sure that they got it, fully assembled and cleaned at maximum capacity.
He felt connected to the Delta, and thus, everyone went to Bottomsup Bay to find one
.

And then there was this. The screens started appearing several days after the Doc and the old man took him in. He didn't tell either of them, because even with his messed up memory, he was sure it wasn't normal. He pulled out his two other medals, though not feeling any real connection to them as of yet

The three seemed to make a good team, they allowed team skills to work at least. Though he felt the most connection to Delta and Chompsaurus, he didn't know why though. He pocketed all his medals and left his penthouse room, passing by the receptionist and going into Doctor Diggin's lab
.
"Ah, Hunter, just give me a minute, I'm almost done" he says, cleaning a fossil
.
Hunter sits down and pulls out his Chompsaurus Medal, staring into it, as his habit had become as of late
.
"...I'l...e...b...k...fo...y...y... ..."
.
Hunter blinks several times, the words settling in his head, leaving him confused
.
"What was that? A broken memory?"
"Did you say something?" Diggins says walking over, a hammer and drill in his hands
"Nothing, just thinking"
"I've been doing some thinking myself. We've put quite a bit of pressure on you this past month, so I think we need to take a break, and actually have fun"
.
Diggins takes him to an arcade, showing him old school RPG's, how they work, and the mechanics behind the games
.
After several hours of plying, Diggins takes Hunter back to his room
.
"I think I'm more of a Strategy Rpg person" Hunter says as Diggins grins
"Ah, a man of culture"
.
Diggins wishes him a good afternoon and returns to his lab, leaving Hunter with several hours until dinner, leaving the amnesiac to his thoughts, since he has no real friends due to the park not opening for another few days. He looks over the strange screens when a crazy thought enters his head. He looks around, making sure no one can hear
.
"Can't believe I'm doing this. Stats?"
.
He jumps as another screen appears in front of him

He clicks on his title, hoping that could tell him something

As Hunter lies on his bed, his medals next to him on the nightstand, as he looks up at the ceiling, wondering where to go from here

"I wonder if Fossil Battles count towards Exp?"

"Good"
.
Hunter hears a ringing and picks up his phone, and, seeing it is Dr Diggins, picks it up
.
"Hello"
"Hey Hunter, you interested in a fossil battle? I'll let you use your real team?"
"Well I can't exactly say no to that can I?" Hunter says grinning
.
He walks to the Fossil Stadium, thinking about how convenient the timing of this event is. He walks into the stadium and sees Dr Diggins on the other side, holding three medals in his hand
.
"You ready?"
"Lets go Doc, They've not gotten the chance to fight in a while"
.
Hunter throws out Chompsaurus and his two Zino. Dr. Diggins throws out a Shuno, Dilopho and a Stego

"Very few, if any Vivosaurs make it to Level 20 except Master Level Fighters, not to mention Vivosaurs on the island are capped at 12, so you should keep that to yourself"

Stego spins around, striking Chompsaurus with its spiked tail. Dilopho lunges forward and bites the metallic Vivosaur before it retreats

Shuno roars, then Dilopho glows as a red circle appears around him, energy flowing into him. Dilopho lunges forward and bites down on Chompsaurus again, retreating back faster than last time as the glow disperses

As Diggins looks surprised, one Zino opens its arms wide, a ring of energy appearing between them, as it brings its hands together, energy shoots out of the ring, hitting all the enemies

Chompsaurus roars loudly as the two Zino let out a strange mechanical roar

"You certainly caught me off guard with that one. Though I don't think I'm much of a challenge for an Unofficial Master Rank Candidate"
"It would have been quite the challenge for my official team though, yours are rank 12 but mine are 8 through 10" Hunter says as his Vivosaurs return to their medals
"Yeah well, your regular team put you around Rank 10 at least"
"Yeah, I know, it records me at Rank one now, though we never did figure out why I can't use a fighter medal"
"Not sure we will, but that amulet around your neck seems to work just the same anyway" Dr Diggins says as Hunter puts a hand on his chest, right where his amulet rests beneath his shirt
"We'll just have to keep an eye on you and that amulet, we might have to jump you a few ranks here and there"
"Yeah"
"Where did that Death Ray move come from?"
"It was amongst the memories of battling, though it still feels like something is missing in those memories"
.
"That was awesome"
Hunter and Diggins turn surprised as a girl with pink hair and pink clothes rushes up to them
.
"Ms. Richmond, you are not supposed to be here" Diggins says
"I know, but Gramps was so boring, what was I supposed to do, I heard a battle and you expect me not to watch it"
"Yes well you need to forget you saw it, Hunter's Vivosaurs are special, and need to be kept secret"
"Yeah yeah. Hi my name's Rosie, what's yours" she says, rushing up to Hunter and holding out her hand
"Hunter. And Rosie?"
"Yeah?"
"You shouldn't complain about spending time with your family, at least you have one. The only people I have right now are the Doc and Mr. Richmond"
"Sorry" she says, looking off to the side
The trio walk out of the fossil stadium, talking a bit more along the way
"So you just woke up here, a month ago, with no memories and those three special Vivosaurs?"
"Pretty much"
"And that doesn't bother you?"
"Not really, my memories coming back slowly. Though I can't help but feel I'm missing something important" Hunter says, hand resting over his chest, on top of his amulet
"Oh, sorry about that. I hope you get your memory back, and that we can be friends"
"Yeah, I'd like that"
Hunter take a blue medal out of his pocket, and tosses it, Delta emerging from it. The blue Vivosaur lowers its head, and nuzzles Hunter's face
.
"Come on girl, lets go for a walk"
Hunter hops on Delta's back and the Vivosaur walks off, leaving Diggins to take Rosie back to her grandfather. As Hunter and Delta go through the forest, he looks at the screens
.

Him and Delta walk into a clearing, Hunter tossing out Spino and Elasmo as well. They lie down, huddling together, curling protectively around Hunter, while Spino keeps watch
"I've not known you three for very long, but you all are great partners of mine"
Delta licks his face as Elasmo nudges it's head against his
"Yeah, a nap sounds good"
Hunter closes his eyes and falls asleep, listening to the heartbeats of his friends
.
"...W..re...A. ...t..re...m...H..t.r... ...ha.e...a... ... "
.
About an hour later
.
.
"Another broken memory, it was a bit clearer, I could almost make it out"
Hunter looks around at the sound of Spino growling. He looks at them, noticing Delta and Elasmo also glaring at the forest
"Hunter, can you tell them to stop?" Rosie yells from the forest
Hunter lets out a high pitched whistle, and the they move behind him, while Delta moves beside him. Rosie cautiously emerges from the forest, keeping her eyes on Hunter's three Vivosaurs
"They're very protective of me. The Doc thinks its strange too, but I like it, makes me feel closer to them, more like family..."
He places his hand on Delta's head and rubs her head as she purrs, while Spino and Elasmo turn back into Medals and float into his other hand
"...Course, Spino doesn't do affection, and Elasmo doesn't do it often, but they both care" he says pocketing the medals
"...Delta on the other hand, she loves attention and affection" he says, hugging her snout
Delta nuzzles his face once more, before turning back into a medal
"But we're getting off topic, why'd you follow me Rosie?"
"I...uh was curious, your all mysterious, no memory, all black clothes and hair, strange Vivosaurs, and two teams when you can only have one" She says, pink dusting her cheeks
.
"Yeah, well mysterious nature comes with the amnesia I suppose. Its taken a month just to remember how to fossil battle, and I can't help but feel I used to be better at it"
"How so?"
"Okay, so follow me on this; It took me several turns to beat Doc right. It feels like if I were how I used to be, I could have beaten him in one turn, especially with how strong my team is."
"So you feel that you lost the experience that would have given you the one turn winning strategy?" Rosie asks as he nods
"That's exactly it, and besides, even with that bit of my memory, it feels like something truely big is missing, some big part of myself I can't seem to remember"
"That's heavy"
"Yeah, enough about that though, its getting dark, we should go. Dinner should be starting soon"
Hunter pulls out Chompsaurus's medal and tosses it, summoning the Red Metallic Vivosaur
"You want a ride? This is probably the last time I can use him for a while"
Chompsaurus crouches low to the ground as Hunter jumps on and holds out his hand. Rosie takes it and he pulls her up. Chompsaurus stands up and takes off towards the hotel
Rosie wraps her arms around Hunter's waist, holding tight to him
"You didn't tell me he'd go this fast" She yells
"That's half the fun" he replies grinning
The two reach the hotel and disembark from Chompsaurus, who returns to his medal
"Enjoy the ride?" he asks smiling
"...Never...again"
As Hunter laughs, the two walk into the hotel, and go into the dinner hall
"That was fun, seems Rosie even developed a crush on me. She's cute, but not really my type, though there is something about the pink hair"
As he thinks about it, a new memory comes to the forefront of his mind
.
Her pink hair swayed in the wind, the moonlight making her yellow eyes glow so beautifully
"Hunter"
.
"My gorgeous girl...Its so close, I can feel the memory, its right there. I can almost reach it, but its just out of my reach" he says, rubbing his temples
"Hunter, dinner's starting, were gonna be late" Rosie says running back
She sees the look on his face and concern crosses her features
"Are you okay?"
"Not really, but lets go to dinner anyway" he says, pressing the bridge of his nose, trying to mitigate the oncoming headache
The two go to dinner, Rosie looking over at Hunter every few minutes as the two eat their dinner. As Hunter eats, his headache gets worse, and before long his head is pounding
"Hunter? Are you alright?"
"No, I'm not. Can you help me back to my room? I don't think I can walk too straight right now"
Rosie puts an arm around Hunter's shoulder and helps him to the elevator, him stumbling and Rosie trying very hard to keep him up. She takes him to his room, has him open the door and lies him on the bed
"Drink lots of water"
"Thanks Rosie"
"Your welcome"
Hunter closes his eyes, falling asleep near instantly
.
Two shadowy figures stand on a cliff, the sunset casting a beautiful glow along the ocean
"Hunter, My Hunter, you've made me so happy"
"And you've made me the happiest man by saying yes"
"Of course I said yes, I love you"
"My Gorgeous Girl, my Delta Princess, I love you too, my..."
.
.
"Duna!" Hunter says sitting up with gasp
"Hunter?" Rosie says groggily, waking up from her chair
"Rosie? Did you stay here last night?"
"...I was concerned about you...Because your my friend" She replies quickly, cheeks tinted pink
"Yeah, okay, we'll talk about later, I'm in too good a mood right now"
"Something happen?"
"I'm remembering, its only a few more memories, but its coming back"
"Hunter, that's wonderful. Let's celebrate, I'm buying breakfast"
"Sure, just let me take a shower and get some fresh clothes and we can go"
.
Rosie nods and he moves towards the bathroom, before looking back at Rosie
.
"Isn't that your cue to go Rosie? Unless your trying to see me without clothes?"
.
Rosie turns a bright shade of red and rushes out the door, slamming it behind her. Hunter chuckles to himself, before looking in the mirror
"I'm really happy that memory came back, but I still can't remember too much, like my race, or what Duna looked like other than pink hair and yellow eyes"
.

Okay then, so what do you think? I know I'm flying through his amnesia but Fossil Fighters moves rather fast anyway
.
Wonder How he lost his memory? So do I, as I write this, I still do not know how to play it, so suggest something
.
How about the reason he went to earth, why did he come out of his sleep?
.
